Team Previews- Dublin Jerome

Head Coach Karli Burkett, Varsity Assistant Dr. Andrea Baylin and the Jerome Celts are ready to roll for the 2026-27 season! Last year, they reached the District Semifinals, finishing with a 9-14 overall record. Records however, don' tell the whole story! Most of Jerome's losses were 8 points or less. Let's take a look at a few players to watch!

It doesn't matter who's guarding her, or if she's face guarded every game, Heidi still found ways to average 17.1 ppg. last season, along with actively rebounding and picking pockets on the defensive end! This young lady competes, is driven, impacts the game on both ends of the court, and she's without question college material. She's a multi dimensional scoring machine! (Featured Photo)

Keep your eyes on Weatherwax! She's the type of player that can play multiple positions 2-5 both offensively and defensively. And Kate was coming alive towards the end of the season! She can make an impact with outside shooting, mid-range jumpers, and going through the defense to the rim!

I said it last year, and I'll say it now, Hawk's length and agility can do some serious damage against opponents! She's coming into this season with a year of varsity experience under her belt, on top of her work ethic! Lennon continues to get better around the rim, along with her footwork! Combine all of these assets and that equals a confident sophomore beast!

Sulitis moved from Petoskey, Michigan to Dublin, Ohio, and the Celtics are excited to have her wearing Green and Gold! Ella is going to provide muscle in the paint, consistent rebounding, and her moves on the block and cleaning up loose change will be extremely valuable! She has reliable hands and knows what to do with the rock!
