Team Previews- Gibsonburg

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Up in Northwest Ohio, one of the top teams to watch again this year will be Gibsonburg, who not only won 18 games last season, but they will one of the teams to watch in the Sandusky Bay Conference. They have some solid upperclassmen to lead the way, and a freshman to keep an eye on as she progresses through her first season. The Kent State recruit is one of the most prolific scorers in all of Ohio, and her overall game continues to grow. She has worked even harder over the summer and should even be better. Has gotten stronger and quicker and is a natural leader. Her confidence level has gotten better. Has improved her speed and overall game with off season work. Struggled a bit with her shooting as a sophomore, but has worked hard to turn that around. She is a great defender and has that "it" factor with her competitive nature. She loves the competition and when things get tougher out there, she seems to get better. Plays for the bigger moments. Look for her to take that next step after a solid summer. Can finish well at the rim, a good pick-and-roll player which allows her finish strong with her left hand. Rebounds well and for her size, able to handle the ball when needed. Count on her to make an impact with this team and will help take some of the pressure off of Evarts with handling the ball. Very quick at both ends of the court, has a nice shot and continuing to improve her range.
