Fall Rankings Update: 2025 Cs

A couple of weeks ago, we released the updated rankings for the Class of 2025. With 235 players now either ranked in our Top 100 or a part of our 135-person watch list in 2025, I wanted to take the time to highlight a few girls from each position group. Below is a look at the centers and the 26 ladies included in this specific group, followed by some analysis on a handful of those prospects.    .    Kaelyse's growth and development as a basketball player over the last five years has been an interesting watch. She has always been tall, but she has gotten stronger, more athletic, and she has really improved her skill and awareness around the basket. Now, you can see the instincts start to kick in a little, and she is making more natural post moves around the block. She has soft hands and a solid half-hook, but if she could improve anywhere, it would still be switching ends of the floor quicker. She has drawn a great deal of NJCAA interest.     When she was younger, Maddie was more of an athlete than a pure basketball player. But as she has progressed throughout high school, she has gained more offensive skill, and therefore she has been a more aggressive, more confident scorer. She has great length, an athletically strong frame, and she can get out and run the floor. She can box out or pursue rebounds outside of her area, she's a rim protector, and she is starting to show more consistent touch at 15-feet. She could be in line for a big Senior year for the 59ers.     I really hadn't seen a lot of Rhiana until this year, but she is certainly an intriguing frontline prospect I think several Midwestern small colleges would be interested in. She has a fairly strong frame, really nice length, and she's a decent athlete in most directions. She has a little bounce to her as well, and she is a volleyball player, so that surely helps some with her balance. On the basketball court, she can establish herself on the block, rebound and defend down low, plus she has the potential to play a little facing the basket in the mid-post.     Samone strikes me as a kid who just loves to play basketball. Paying attention to her social media and speaking with her high school coach, she has been someone who has been aggressive seeking out colleges trying to find an opportunity to continue playing at the next level...and she has found a handful already who are interested in her. She is strong and physical, she works hard, and she has soft hands around the basket. She is going to be more of a "fit" kid in a half-court system, but I think she can help the right small college program.     Sophia is an extremely long, wiry-strong frontline prospect who has flashed nice upside for the next level. She runs the floor North/South well, she tries to be physical, despite needing more strength, plus she has some touch in the mid-post and the short corners. Defensively, she is quite the deterrent protecting the paint, but she also has range and can pursue rebounds outside of her area. Additionally, she commits time to softball, so more than anything, she just needs to spend time getting more reps against quality hoops competition.
