Samone strikes me as a kid who just loves to play basketball. Paying attention to her social media and speaking with her high school coach, she has been someone who has been aggressive seeking out colleges trying to find an opportunity to continue playing at the next level…and she has found a handful already who are interested in her. She is strong and physical, she works hard, and she has soft hands around the basket. She is going to be more of a “fit” kid in a half-court system, but I think she can help the right small college program.

Samone is another strong, physical post who likes to seek contact at both ends of the floor. She plays with a nice motor for a post, and she works to change ends of the floor. Offensively, she is best around the rim, but she can drive it from the mid-post. Defensively, she’ll box out, rebound, and she does a nice job of rotating to help out teammates. She has already drawn some small college interest, and if she can continue to work on her explosiveness, I think she can be impactful as a small college post.
