2024- 2025 Team Preview: Ribault Trojans

The Lady Trojans are primed to make a run to Lakeland and they have the roster to do it. She has great height, great length, and can play on the perimeter. Actually, she is most comfortable on the perimeter where she can shoot the three and the midrange pull-up. Medlock also thrives in the open court where she handles the ball and fill the lane, and most importantly- she can finish. Defensively, she is a shot block waiting to happen. In the Rebound department, she is a candidate for Miss Double- Double. If there is a loose ball or a dive in stands is necessary, you can bet Donaldson is going to be in the center of it. She applies that same energy on rebounds, and especially on the offensive end of the court. Offensive put-backs is a huge part of Donaldson's game and that is a product of her relentless pursuit of the basketball. She has the ability to play the point and shooting guard position, depending on the personnel on the floor. Brown can run the offense and get the ball to all of the weapons around her. Once in rhythm, Brown can score from behind the arc with the best of them. When the defense commits to other players and leaves her open, she can knock the three down. She also shoots the ball very well in transition . She has speed and can match up with the speedy guards on the opposing teams. She has great foot speed and can move laterally and backwards at a fast pace. Gross plays the passing lanes very well and gets her share of steals as a result. Gross can also push the pace on the break and score in transition. She also playmaking abilities to get the ball to her teammates when she draws the double teams. She has great size at the guard position and can also play at the three when needed. Berry's three point shooting accuracy and ability to score at all levels makes her a dangerous player. At several events over the Summer and Fall, she has been arguably the top shooter in the room. She shoots with great accuracy and efficiency, and is not short on confidence.
