About Kenley
Expert Analysis

Kenley is really fun to watch due to how skilled of a guard she is. She has the ball on a string and is really difficult to turnover. She can do basically any dribble-combo you can think of. This allows her to create space in the half-court and set herself up for scoring opportunities. She excels in the midrange because of this. Kenley is an unselfish player and finds her open teammates. I like her use of the ball screen and how she uses that advantage to attack or pass to open teammates. Kenley is a true gym-rat. She loves basketball and loves finding ways to get better. She finished the season as an All-Region selection and an All-State selection, solidifying herself as one of the top players in the state.

Haug is the pride of Central Cass and is still in the beginning of what will be one of the most decorated careers in school history. Kenley is a great prospect due to her elite skill level, her quick first step, and her strength. She has room to improve all of those facets due to her young age. What separates her from many recruits is that she has the desire to improve. To be better than most and still want to improve is a quality not many high school athletes possess.

Haug is a returning All-Region player and the current number 1 ranked player in the 2029 class. She does it all on the court for the Squirrels and was arguably their best player last season and is clearly their best player going forward. She is a tough, hard-nosed guard who is exceptionally skilled. Her shooting form is tremendous and can create scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates.

In my opinion, it is only a matter of time until either UND or NDSU offer Kenley. She is a great local talent and a true gym rat. She reminds me of Jocelyn Schiller, another smaller guard who was under-recruited in high school and ended up being Freshman of the Year in the Summit League at UND. Kenley might not be the typical 5’11 guard that colleges look for in recruits, but she is strong enough to battle with bigger guards defensively. She plays with a chip on her shoulder and is a tremendous competitor.

Kenley was one of the top young players invited to the Who’s Next and played great today. She is super skilled and handles the ball really well. Two areas stood out today about Kenley: her strength and her passing ability. She has super strong legs and you can see she spends time in the weight room getting better. This is critical for players who want to reach their full potential. Her passing today was outstanding. She has unbelievable vision and was able to find open teammates for easy buckets throughout the day.

The current number one prospect comes to us from Central Cass. She isn’t afraid of big moments, having played varsity the previous two seasons. She was selected as an All-Region player this season and is only going to get better. She has the ball on a string when she dribbles and can create her own shot whenever she wants. She packages it all together with a great work ethic and desire to be great.

Kenley is one of the best players in the 2029 class and a starter on the Central Cass Squirrels. She is having a terrific season and will have a legitimate shot a making the All-Region team. She is incredibly skilled and perhaps the most skilled 8th grader I have seen so far. Kenley plays with a passion that is contagious to her team and can inspire great effort. She is really fun to watch and is going to have many more years of individual and team success.

This youngster is averaging 13.3 ppg for the 8-0 Squirrels. Haug can score any way that she wants, has a great middy, shoots 84% from the line, and shoots nicely from 3 with 33FG%. Kenley has the best handles that Coach Bachman has ever been around. Haug can beat you off the dribble and make you look silly doing it. She is not afraid to drive into the lane, but she can also pull up from anywhere. Kenley also has an awesome floater and finishes great around the rim.

Kenley had a terrific game and is a big time prospect. Her skill level is elite for an 8th grader. She hit multiple 3 point shots off of the ball screen, with one being a huge shot towards the end of regulation. She has a great change of speed with the ball and is able to make difficult shots. She had two impressive moves – a spin finish into a one foot fade-away, and a step back contested shot going to her left. Kenley is going to continue to improve and will be a multi-year All-Region selection and future All-State selection.
