Shaw isn't talked about much and I think she should be! When she steps out on the floor she means business, her length and speed really help her get the ball down the floor to score. When she enters the paint, she seals her defender and makes a nice post move to score, she cleans up missed shots and gets to the free throw line. When a shot goes up you can see her put her body on someone every time.     With a good, strong body and the ability to score at the rim with or without contact, Courtney is becoming a diligent post player. In terms of defense, she can hold the block down and rebound effectively, and she runs the floor and finishes well at the rim through contact. I see her game improving even more as she continues to put in the hard work!     I wouldn't enter the paint if she's down protecting it. This girl put on a blocking party, her long arms and legs allow her to run up and down the floor effectively and get a lot of deflections. She doesn't let one turnover ruin her confidence, she goes on to make the next play. Very strong with the ball and handles pressure in the paint well. I really enjoy watching her snag rebounds and second chance points.     She can turn a mistake into two points, stops you off the dribble, and reads the play and defender fairly well. She has a clean stroke that rises well near the rim. She puts a lot of effort into every play, demonstrating a great desire to improve and learn the game. Whatever position she's put in she gets the job done.     She is extremely valuable on both ends of the basket because of her quick thinking, her ability to time her blocks in the paint, and the way she handles business on the boards! Excellent footwork down on the block and puts on a show when she gets going. If she doesn't have a good look at the rim, she sees her open teammates to score the outside shots. When she releases down the floor, she sets herself up to score and always stays active on both ends of the floor.
