Legacy Sabers vs. Bismarck Demons

The Sabers from Bismarck Legacy made the short trip across town to Bismarck High to take on the Demons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Bismarck used hot shooting early and got out to a 50-26 halftime lead. The Demons led by as many as 27 points. Legacy won the second half 32-15 but it was too big of a deficit. Grace is going to be vital for the demons going forward. She displays great poise on the court for a kid who is only 5 games into her varsity career. She is very efficient offensively and never looked to force anything last night. Neumann did a good job of letting the game come to her. She is always in the right position defensively. Anytime BHS needed a big play it was Neumann making it. Whether it was a steal, rebound, extra pass, or a basket, she was making a winning play for the Demons. As the season gets deeper, Grace is only going to get better with more minutes. She is a true coach's kid who makes winning plays. Kambree was 3/8 shooting from 3-point land. Fettig's stats are not going to jump off the sheet at you but if you watch her play, every coach wants a Teya fettig on the court. She does all the things that go unnoticed very well on the court. She was constantly giving the Saber guards fits on defense. Marlee displayed the ability to step outside and knock down 3's while going 2/6 from 3. She can also get to the basket via the bounce and draw fouls for trips to the line. At 6'2, her ability to put the ball on the floor &amp; shoot is a scary combination. College coaches have taken notice. I believe she holds offers from USD and NDSU.
