Davis Really Steps Up Tonight:

Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='759618' first='Madisyn' last='Davis'] really came out playing strong tonight for the Lady Panthers. Davis would finish with 16 points in the win. Madisyn was able to score the rock in transition on several occasions this evening with her playing in the passing lanes. She really played aggressive all night long when it came to both ends of the floor. Madisyn really played her game all night long going to the rack and scoring around the paint.

Farmer, Washington and Vereen Lead Lady Chiefs:

The North Myrtle Beach HS Lady Chiefs really rely on the trio of seniors [player_tooltip player_id='210157' first='Faith' last='Farmer'], [player_tooltip player_id='825729' first='Nevaeh' last='Washington'] and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='567022' first='Madison' last='Vereen']. Farmer a senior guard finished the night with 15 points. Faith played off the ball night long and was able to connect on a few jumpers along the way. Washington a post player who likes to play with her back to the basket finished with 11 points. Nevaeh works to get position down low on the block while playing close to the basket. She was able to finish over the taller [player_tooltip player_id='355639' first='Miracle' last='Mclean'] on few occasions this evening. Nevaeh really needs to develop a good post moving forward to the next level.

Vereen finished with 19 points today while getting to the foul line a bunch this evening. Madison does a really good job of rebounding the ball from her position on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='355639' first='Miracle' last='Mclean'] can really impact a game in the middle for the Lady Panthers. She was able to finish with 12 points before fouling out with 39.2 seconds left in the game. Miracle just a junior runs the floor very well while covering a lot of ground around the paint and perimeter. She plays the game with great mobility and has the ability to step out and defend and block shots on the perimeter. Miracle sprints the floor in long easy strides and plays like a guard at times. She has great upside and the ability to fill the lane in transition while being defenders down the floor. Look for her recruitment to pick up soon and into the spring for sure.

8th grader [player_tooltip player_id='1142335' first='Aubree' last='Anglin'] will surely be a name to monitor down the road for the Lady Chiefs. Aubree came off the bench and let it fly from downtown. She played with a good deal of confidence and aggressiveness on the floor for her age.
