<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Let's take. look back at some of the games whe highlighted from Thursday and FStunnersriday and take a peak at some of the talent that is shining. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Stunners</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Davis vs. Fremont</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While the first matchup between these two was lopsided Davis was able to come with a different game plan and that was to get [player_tooltip player_id='796844' first='T'Maea' last='Eteuati'] going and she did just that. Etetuati is a D1 talent. She was on fire hitting 4 three-pointers and Fremont could not keep pace with them this time around. The one positive in the loss is that Fremont continues to get excellent and consistent play from [player_tooltip player_id='796472' first='Abigail' last='Christensen']. Davis might have shaken up the rankings and the RPI, stay tuned. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Skyridge vs. Westlake</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When the season started both team were tabbed in different direction but this game proved that anything can happen in 6A. Westlake was on a run picking up some really good wins, especially a road victory at Lone Peak as they ave been getting really good play from their collective unit. [player_tooltip player_id='796479' first='Avery' last='Thompson'] went crazy as she had 26 points and was doing it all over the floor. Westlake came up a little short as Skyridge road [player_tooltip player_id='789079' first='Ella' last='Oeser'] who used her size and stregth to plow her way to the rim many times. Oeser looks to be picking things up here in the home stretch as Skyridge and Westlake are two teams that many teams to not want in their path to the ship. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Huge Wins</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wasatch over Timpview</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Both really good teams that are starting to figure things out but Wasatch was able to ride a solid performance from D1 bound sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='796470' first='Mahala' last='Speardon']. Speardon has been a player in the class that has improved a lot in one years time. She could easily be a focal point and a go to player down the stretch with her size and scoring ability down in the paint. [player_tooltip player_id='788242' first='Lina' last='Ballin'] is starting to get back to her bread and better that she was doing early in the season and if she is loose she is hard to stop. Ballin is a really good prospect to watch and she will be a major catch at a small school or JUCO. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bingham over Riverton</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This game was an absolute battle and both teams made their runs and bingham was able to make a surge in the second half and it was a collective attack as they have been getting great play from Evy Roberts and [player_tooltip player_id='961166' first='Raylynn' last='Richardson']. [player_tooltip player_id='788191' first='Faythe' last='Stauffer'] averages 8+ free-throws a game and she did just that, find ways to get to the line. She was scoring off the bounce attacking and shooting well. In the end [player_tooltip player_id='788161' first='Addy' last='Horsley'] took over as she continues to prove she is a D1 talent racking up 9 assist in the win finding open players left and right. Murdock is a taolented athlete that could easily find a home in the NWAC or a D3. She is a player that will need minutes to make sure West Jordan has experience coming back next year. The game seems to be coming a little easier as she is playing with really good pace.
