Class 4a Area 1 Preview Team and Players to Watch

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Taking a look at Class 4a Area 1 today. Fort Gibson and Kingfisher are the top 2 seeds in the Area 1. I feel this could be the area that could possibly have a upset. I only say that cause several of these teams have played each other during the season. As many know it is hard to beat a team two or three times in a season. Fort Gibson has played a majority of the filed during the regular season with a large victory margin. They have the height and athleticism that some of the teams in this Area would have trouble matching i[ too. <strong>Kingfisher</strong> has 7 quality wins over Top 20 teams this season. Several of those wins have already been against teams in this area. Noted that out of their 5 losses 4 of those have been to Top 20 teams the only other one was to 6a Deer Creek early in tournament play. <strong> Oologah-Talala </strong>is a team that floated around the Top 10 during the mid season but some late season losses had them slip down to #14. Great size in the forward area with some strong guard play. A team that has excelled under their first year head coach. Enters playoffs on a 2 game winning streak. <strong>Weatherford</strong> is a team that do not let the record fool you. Out of the 25 games schedule this season 13 of those have been against ranked teams picking up 4 wins. Weatherford and a possible Kingfisher match up would be the game to watch. They have split the 2 games and both have been close. <strong>Elk City</strong> has great guard play and loves the up and down tempo. A team that has picked up quality wins against several teams in this area. Including a win over Kingfisher several weeks ago. A team to watch as they matchup with several of these teams the second time around. <strong>Vinita</strong> is a team that many not know about but pay attention to them as they enter the playoffs on a 7 game winning streak. Great size and good guard play to go along with tough defense makes the Lady Hornets not a team to sleep on. <strong>Mannford</strong> has great young shooting guards that can get hot in a hurry. They do have some wins over several teams in this area meaning they have the capability to extended their season with some regional wins. <strong>Woodward</strong> is a team that has struggled off and on throughout the season. They have played several of the teams n this area and is very familiar to what it may take to upset someone. They do have a very dynamic scorer that would need some help for that to happen.
