Watching Marrujo play is very exciting. She makes the game fun to watch and her skills make her play look effortless. Listed at 5"5", she plays much bigger. She sees very well over the defense and delivers crisp passes in the full court. Her passing is also super accurate in the half court, hitting teammates in the exact spots they need to score. Sophia is calm on the court, but dont let that fool you, she is an offensive threat from all aspects. Her handles are strong, she can get all the way to the hoop and finish strong. Marrujo's jumpshot is so smooth. She is confident and consistent at both the mid-range and from the 3pt line. On defense Sophia seems to be all over the place. Playing with long arms and quick feet, she gets steals in open court and on the wings and will even grab a couple rebounds over shorter guards. Post players are never safe when she is around, she gets her hands on everything. Brighton is in good hands behind this guard.

Hannah isn't lacking anything on the court. This freshman is getting varsity minutes because of her high energy, tenacious play. She is a do-it-all player. She is always in the paint, battling for rebounds on both ends, she has great hands. As a small forward, she can play well with her back to the basket and facing the hoop. She has post footwork and the strength to score efficiently in the paint. Watson can also score from the high post, wing and even shoot the three. Defensively, Hannah does not back down from anything. She will get in a stance a pick up a dribbler from full court, and also play physical in the paint with the post players. And always pay attention to her and the details. Hannah does the little things like setting great screens, boxing out, and chasing loose balls on every single play. Pay attention to the freshman for Denver East in the playoffs.

With great all-around skill, Monahan is definitely the asset of the D'Evelyn team. This forward has good handles and is quick on her feet, she easily gets around bigger, slower defenders. She finishes well at the rim behind great footwork, and she can also hit mid-range jumpers with confidence. Monahan just recently set her career high for most rebounds in a game, she can definitely get on the boards. On defense, Colleen is equally as skilled. Her quickness gets her team turnovers in pressure situations and she is not afraid to battle in the paint. The top scorer for the Jags, Monahan will be the key to the team going deep into the playoffs.

This forward puts the power in Power Forward. Nyree uses her strong frame well on both ends on the court. On offensive she is the perfect target on the wing and in the paint. She has the handles to catch and go from the wing, getting points from finishes at the rim and pull-up jumpers both consistently. Smith can also shoot from the three, making her a surprise for the bigger post players that match up against her. She is constantly crashing the boards, getting the extra clean-up points for Skyview. At the defensive end she uses her frame just as well. She has a long wingspan to keep dribblers and shooters contained, but really gets the needed stops in the paint by using all her strength to her advantage. As just as sophomore, Nyree will continue to be a crucial component to the Skyview team.

Bates is a strong and cosistent guard for Golden. She is confident with the ball in her hands and can help with full court attacks as well as in half court sets. She is a slasher when cutting through the lane, catching on the fly to finish at the rim or from mid-range. Ashlyn is also confident from behind the arch, helping keep her team aggressive on the offensive end. On the defensive end, Bates is all over the court. Getting turnovers from full and half court pressure, but also finding those sneaky steals in the paint. A junior leader for Golden, look for Ashlyn to keep the team competitve through the playoffs.
