The Lady Eagles did just that and defeated Denmark-Olar HS 57-36 to advance to their 5th state championship game in 6 years. She continues her hot play after scoring 14 points today. Williams can really impact a game on both ends of the floor with her all-out hustle and energy. She thrives on getting to the basket and scoring the ball on putbacks and crashing the glass. DaNariyah was able to take the rock downhill at times here today. Mitchell recently committed to Lander University (SC) (NCAA D2) for next season according to Head Coach Nathaniel Taylor. The Lady Stallions jumped out to a 33-11 halftime lead and never looked back. Lee Central HS moves onto (22-4) on the season. Sophomore guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1177258' first='Serenity' last='Williams']</strong> finished with 11 points in the win and was one of four players in double digits for the Lady Stallions. The last time Lee Central HS was in the State Championship Game was 2008. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Reams Nets 20 Points</em></strong>: </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='992657' first='Hannah' last='Reames']</strong> led the charge for the Lady Stallions today with 20 points. She was able to slash to the rack and score around the bucket. Holmes a junior finished with 11 points while Austin a senior finished with 12 points. Holmes ran the floor well and filled the lane in transition. Mykeriyah was able to contest and block shots out on the perimeter. She showcased a nice drop-step move at times and really understands well on keeping the ball up high after claiming it off the glass.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Austin a volleyball player in the fall does a nice job of playing with her back to the basket and posting up. Kiyonna really does a nice job of staying active and playing around the ball at all times.
