About McKayla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe myself as aggressive on both the offensive and defensive end. I benefit my team in communication and through my ability to drive to the basket.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a hard working mentality but while I am someone who wants to keep my team focus I am also a fun person to be around. I always strive to bring a positive attitude and a smile to every practice so that my teammates want to come to practice and enjoy their time there.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am apart of The National Junior Honors Society at my school and I am also involved in school basketball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed my teamwork and leadership through coaching and my school sports. I have completed around 20-30 hours of community service over the past year for NJHS and spent a lot of time helping out younger girls starting basketball.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where I can continue to play the sport that I love while also pursuing an education that will help me later in life.
