Gracyn, a guard for Goonies, had a great day Saturday at the MI College Tour Northwood, showcasing her ability to impact the game in multiple ways. She’s an athletic, bouncy player with a solid handle who was able to create opportunities both for herself and her teammates. One standout moment came when she jumped an inbound pass, quickly turning it into a scoring chance with a sharp assist. Gracyn thrives attacking the basket, using her quickness as a slasher to get into the lane and make plays. Her energy and ability to make things happen consistently stood out throughout the day.

Gracyn has quickly established herself as one of the brightest young stars in the state after an impressive sophomore campaign for Chippewa Valley. The 5-foot-7 guard was a constant force on both ends of the floor, setting a new school record with 95 steals while showcasing her scoring ability and all-around game. She averaged 19 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals per contest, shooting 41 percent from the field and 65 percent from the free-throw line. With two more seasons ahead of her, Gracyn is on pace to rewrite the program’s record books — and a huge junior season looks to be on the horizon.

Gracyn had a huge June last year, and she showed her next-level upside again on Monday at The Compound. Gracyn blocked a shot on defense, chased down rebounds, and drove by defenders to score a soft floater after making a quick transfer. She corralled a defensive rebound, turned on the jets in transition, and used an effective high-pick-up to finish the contested layup. Gracyn penetrated gaps with a downhill burst to score layups and led Chippewa Valley with 13 points.

Gracyn Carrier is a prospect for Chippewa Valley who demonstrated exceptional competitiveness and ability at Wayne State. She shifted into high gear on her drives to the basket, scoring multiple fake-pass euro layups. Gracyn knocked down many 3s off the catch and a contested triple off the dribble. She stole the ball away to score layups, worked for offensive rebounds, and dished assists. Gracyn helped her opponent up after a play and proved herself to be a guard with next-level potential.
