Top Talent: Power Forwards in Tennessee's Class of '26

As I am writing this article, I started to rub my hands together. This position right here is the one who gets down and dirty. The power forwards in Tennessee are super talented, and there are so many reasons why.   <ol class="wp-block-list"> <li>They can be physical.</li>   <li>They can stretch the floor and play along the arc.</li>   <li>They can exploit the mid-range/ short corners.</li>   <li>They are so impactful using their length to block shots and control the boards.</li>   <li>They play with a superb motor that mainly guards with.</li>   <li>They are the alphas on their squads.</li> </ol>   Those are just a few things that come to mind when thinking of young ladies in this class. Throughout the rankings, you will find kids who are impactful and it shows in the results.    Enough of me talking, let me get to the young ladies who are the top power forwards in the ‘26 class.    Champion. Winner. Grinder. Clemson commit. This kid gets after it on both ends of the floor. She is a difference maker who won the Ms. Tennessee 4A award. She has molded her game after another great Bradley Central great, Rhyne Howard. In doing so, she has helped deliver not one, not two, but three championships thus far. Her game speaks volumes, and when she is on the floor, great things tend to happen. She is a special kid who competes for all 32 minutes. Clemson is getting a solid foundational piece that will help them compete in the ACC. Until then, she has one more year to troll opponents on these Tennessee hardwoods.     She has battled back from injury and doing so, has shown a lot of heart and resilience. This kid battles, and it shows in her style of play. She can stretch the floor, handle the ball, knock down shots from all over the floor, but most importantly, utilize her size to be effective. Teams will be clamouring for her signature, and I know once she gets back fully healthy, she is going to be a lethal weapon for the Lady Panthers ball club.     This kid has gotten better and better each and every year. A true back-to-the-basket player who is phenomenal with her back to the basket. She has added to her back where she can face up and exploit the mid-range as well. She is fierce and physical, setting the tone each and every game. She blocks shots and is heavy on the boards. She brings the energy and anchors the defensive side for the Lady Panthers. Look for her to help bring them back to state contention and look to change the outcome this upcoming season.     Tough kid who can use her size to create havoc. Great in the screen game, can knock down shots from afar, when she is in the paint, she is golden. I love how she gets after it on the defensive end. Blocking shots, controlling the boards, hitting the outlet guard to run the lanes, and catching the ball over the top. Her game keeps getting better and better, and I was thoroughly impressed during the state tournament. Look for her to help her ball club get back to Murfreesboro next year. Until then, she will be attracting the eyes of college coaches with her style of play on the circuit. Great kid who is going to be tough to deal with next season.     She is a stats stuffer who competes every possession. She has quickness, has a knack for being around the ball, and just always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Her game speaks volumes as she is the sparkplug for this GC attack. She is a tone setter who is willing to do whatever it takes to help her ball club win. She's gotten better and better throughout the years, and I expect her to finish her final year of high school basketball with some hardware to speak for all her effort. Solid kid who is flying under the radar.     Smart, heady ball player who is a big deal. A fierce competitor who plays with such confidence. She knows how to get to favorable spots using her size to her advantage. From knocking down shots from the blocks, elbows, and short corners, this kid is solid in the interior. When it comes to the defensive side of the ball, she swats shots, anchors down low, controls the boards, and just is physical. This is a special kid who has a high I.Q. both on and off the court. She is going to be a tremendous addition to a program at the next level. Great kid with a bright future.
