The above 8 athletes are names to know in the '28 class. The '28 class across the state of TN is a strong one, and these kids continue to put the work in.

Coach stated, "Built. Not given. In an AAU world full of team-hopping, highlight hunting, and shortcut chasing, this group chose something different: growth over glory. They stayed together when others took shortcuts. They chose to play up — chasing games they could lose, not padding stats. They wanted real pressure. Real mistakes. Real coaching. Not easy wins.

This team is full of players who:

Every rep matters. Every role matters. Every practice matters. They play for each other. They defend like dogs. They rebound like it's personal. They don't apologize for their toughness. They built it. TTP Black isn't built for flash. It's built for the next level."

I agree completely with coach! This [program_tooltip program_id='713866' first='TN' last='Team Pride'] has next level athletes!

Meet the athletes below:

Hutchison is a great shooter. She plays with confidence, and she is always next play ready. She is definitely more than a shooter, but the way she can put the ball in the basket stands out immediately! Remember this, "shooter by title. Competitor by nature."

Garner is a point guard that next level coaches are going to love! She has smooth handles. It's extremely hard to press this kid. She's a good two-way athlete that never backs down from any challenge. She is a natural leader on the court, and the true definition of a coach on the floor. She's a savvy kid that knows how to get all of her teammates involved. "Heartbeat of the huddle. Closer when it counts."

Ladd has great length and size! Josie was one of the first players I noticed on the court. She rebounds exceptionally well. She is a fundamentally sound athlete that continues to get better every time she steps on the court. She finishes well around the rim. She is a great rim protector, and she will make smaller guards pay! "Moves with purpose. Plays with quiet fire."

Jewett is a force in the paint. She knows her role, and plays it exceptionally well. She goes after every rebound. If she gets a body on you, the rebound is hers! She is one of the dirty work athletes that will set the hard screens, and get her teammates open. She is a power forward that knows exactly how to play physical! "Rebounds. Defends. Leaves dents."

Birkofer is an all out go-getter. She is going to get after it on every possession. The effort by this athlete never has to be questioned. She is a high IQ kid, and another extension of a coach on the floor. Defensively, she does a great job tracking the ball, and reading passing lanes. She does a solid job on both ends of the court! "Plays with her eyes. Leads with her edge."

Stanley is a tough athlete that will make you pay if she gets a head of steam to the basket. She attacks good, and she uses her strength to her advantage. She is one of the power guards that is hard to stop! She is a good rebounding guard on both ends of the court. She does a great job creating contact, and finishing. "Power guard who defends with an edge, and finishes through contact."

Smith is a defensive stopper. She does a great job stopping opponents in their tracks. She takes pride on the defensive end, and getting on the floor. She is the athlete that will win the 50-50 balls. She plays with a high motor, and she never takes a play off. "Defensive catalyst. Relentless problem."

Gravelle does a great job providing her team with extra possessions. She is a great paint protector, and she will make it hard on opposing athletes. She will make you alter your shot, and she knows how to use her body extremely well. She plays under control. She rebounds exceptionally well, and she is an athlete that does the dirty work in the trenches! "Paint protector. Culture enforcer."

If you get a chance to pull up to watch the youngsters, put this team at the top of your list. The talent speaks for itself. This team continues to move in silence, and their play speaks volumes!
