Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Kathleen made a lasting impression at the PGH Michigan State Tournament last May, receiving recognition as All-Tournament First Team. She has the physicality to score and defend in the paint, but can also handle the ball. Kathleen slashes to the rim for layups, has great footwork in traffic, facilitates, and finishes strong off two feet. She had a productive first season on Varsity with Thornapple Kellogg and will be a playmaker to watch with Dream Loudly Basketball EYCL 15U James at the PGH MI College Tour is Saturday.

Kathleen had a memorable PGH Michigan State Tournament for MBA. She had not quit in her and that relentless effort resulted in a dominant weekend on both sides of the ball. Kathleen has the versatile skills and strength to excel playing guard or forward. She powered through contact to score many shots at the rim, knocked down perimeter jumpers, and blocked shots on defense. Kathleen is a prospect who would be a great addition to the Freshman Showcase.

Kathleen was dominant for MBA 14U Robinson at our PGH Michigan State Tournament this weekend. She wasn’t afraid to fire from beyond the arc, dished quick passes to open teammates, and knocked a confident straightaway triple off the bounce. Kathleen drove hard downhill to score layups with both hands–she scored with a high-pick-up move off two feet. Kathleen made an emphatic block, scored strong offensive rebound put backs, and was a constant rebounding presence. She energized her teammates with high-fives and positive communication. Kathleen motored down the lane through traffic, missed her initial contested layup, immediately leaped up to grab the rebound, and scored the tough athletic put back off two feet in the crowd–I love seeing that no-quit mindset! Kathleen had a breakout tournament that helped MBA 14U Robinson to an undefeated record and championship victory. She looks like a prospect booming with potential and earned All-Tournament this weekend.
