The Prep Girls Hoops Freshmen 50 – our first full ranking of the Class of 2029 – will debut this fall, shortly after the PGH Freshmen Showcase in September. That event gives incoming 9th graders one final chance to make their case before the list goes live. In the meantime, we're spotlighting 20 rising prospects who've already caught our attention – players we've been watching closely over the past few months. Yesterday, we introduced the first five names on our 2029 Watch List. Today, we continue with five more standouts from across the state.

As always, a quick reminder: Prep Girls Hoops rankings are based on long-term potential at the college level. Current production plays a role, but it's not the whole story. These players are listed in alphabetical order by last name.

With a long, athletic frame and explosive scoring ability, Denkmann has all the tools to compete at the high-major level. She finishes through contact with ease, showing excellent body control and touch around the rim. Brielle can bury threes as well as anyone in the class, and her size, length, and speed make her a handful to defend effectively. She plays with power and poise, and impacts the game on the defensive end in a big way. Brielle is a consistent scorer and playmaker with elite upside – a potential #1 prospect in the Class of 2029.

A crafty, high-IQ guard out of St. Paul, Deleeuw is a sharp passer with elite vision and timing. She reads the game a step ahead of most players and delivers pinpoint passes in traffic or in transition. Deleeuw gets downhill with ease, sees the entire floor, and consistently puts teammates in a position to score. She returned from a late-season injury to lead Cretin-Derham Hall to the State Tournament, reminding everyone of her toughness and poise. Deleeuw plays with tempo and flair. She's a fearless playmaker who elevates the entire group around her.

A slippery, confident guard from Providence Academy, Beckett brings a dynamic mix of quickness, creativity, and scoring touch. She has a sharp handle, a quick first step, and a natural ability to find seams in the defense. Greenway keeps defenders off balance with her pace and change of direction, and she can bury the three with remarkable consistency. Beckett is fearless with the ball and hard to contain in the open floor. With top-shelf athletic bloodlines and the expectations that go with that, she's carving out her own identity as a go-to guard in the 2029 class.

One of the truly elite shooters in the 2029 class, Grosse has a textbook release and deep range. She moves well without the ball, gets into her shot pocket quickly, and rarely needs much space to let it fly. Nevaeh is a smooth operator on the perimeter and has the strength to hold her ground on both ends. She picked up her first D1 offer last week from the University of Montana, a sign of things to come. With a strong feel for the game and the ability to stretch defenses, Grosse is a name to know moving forward. Look out when she gets stronger and matures physically.

One of the most polished players in the 2029 class, Hamiel brings poise, physicality, and feel to every possession. A transfer from Canada last fall with deep St. Paul-area roots, she quickly made an impact and earned Prep Girls Hoops Newcomer of the Year honors for her superior varsity performance as an 8th grader. Hamiel is a strong rebounder, versatile scorer, and tireless defender who thrives on hustle plays. She's intelligent, composed, and rarely makes mistakes. A reliable, high-level guard with a motor that never stops, what sets her apart are her instincts which are special.
