#9: The Cretin-Derham Hall freshman made a major impact for the Raiders last season, both on their journey to and at the State Tournament. For those familiar with her game, it was no surprise seeing Deleeuw bring her elite basketball IQ and playmaking abilities to the big stage. With a high level of skill, tremendous poise, and ability to score the ball at multiple levels, the 5’7 guard continues to make an impression on scouts and college coaches alike. There is no doubt that Isabella is both a gritty competitor and one of the state’s up-and-coming point guards. 

Not surprisingly, Deleeuw was one of the day’s standout performers, controlling the floor with confidence and poise from the opening tip. She creates space with her handle, knocks down tough mid-range and long-distance shots, and sees the game at a high level. The ball rarely leaves her hands without finding the right spot. Deleeuw is wiry strong and has the IQ, vision, and decision-making to outperform older, bigger players. She balances scoring and distribution seamlessly, knowing when to pull the trigger and when to dish. One of the premier performers in the Class of 2029.

A crafty, high-IQ guard out of St. Paul, Deleeuw is a sharp passer with elite vision and timing. She reads the game a step ahead of most players and delivers pinpoint passes in traffic or in transition. Deleeuw gets downhill with ease, sees the entire floor, and consistently puts teammates in a position to score. She returned from a late-season injury to lead Cretin-Derham Hall to the State Tournament, reminding everyone of her toughness and poise. Deleeuw plays with tempo and flair. She’s a fearless playmaker who elevates the entire group around her.
