With the AAU season now more than half over, it's time for one of the key milestones of our year-round coverage – the release of the Prep Girls Hoops Class of 2029 Watch List. Although the official Freshmen 50 won't debut until fall – that's our first ranking of the incoming 9th graders – the Watch List sheds light on 20 rising freshmen who have already made their mark.

Please note: The Watch List is not a prospect ranking. That's why we've listed the players in alphabetical order by last name rather than numerically. In previous years, nearly all of the Watch List selections have gone on to earn a spot in the Freshmen 50. Keep in mind that all Prep Girls Hoops evaluations and rankings are based on a player's potential to be successful in college basketball, not their current level of performance in high school.

Here is part 3 of our Watch List release bringing the total number so far to 15.

Standing at 6'1 with a strong, muscular frame, the 8th grader is a formidable presence in the paint. Harris has put numerous hours into developing her footwork on the offensive end, as well as her touch around the rim, causing her to be highly skilled in both areas. Using her understanding of positioning and timing, the Fury Yellow post is very effective on the boards, as well. With both of Addison's parents having played Division 1 college basketball, the potential for her to play at a high level is certainly there.

The dynamic guard has made quite a splash so far this summer, leading the way for the Fury's 2029 Yellow group which has turned in some excellent performances. Henrikson is a high-IQ player who is highly effective both as a primary ball handler and an off-ball guard. She has tremendous court vision, makes great reads on both ends of the floor, and her shot selection is nothing short of excellent. Macie's game is remarkably polished for her age, and she has no shortage of aggressiveness or work ethic. The ceiling is very high for this young player.

Currently in her first AAU season with All-Iowa Attack, this high-octane scorer has been a mainstay of the Park Center varsity rotation for two years already. Holman possesses tremendous length and athleticism, as well as the ability to score the ball at every level. Demi's long strides and crafty ball handling help her get downhill with ease, but her proficiency from beyond the arc is a hallmark of the 8th grader's game. This winter she was the Pirates' second-leading scorer, averaging 13.3 points per game.

A core member of Tartan's 14U EYBL team again this spring, the Byron 8th grader has had an impactful AAU season thus far. As a three-sport competitor, Kelm's elite athleticism sets her apart from the crowd. She's super quick, light on her feet, and has a significant bounce in her step. Raegan also works incredibly hard whenever she's on the floor. All of these attributes combined make her a disruptive and pesky defender. Already a standout on the Byron varsity roster, Raegan's name is one that's likely to remain in the conversation over the next four years.

Entering the AAU season this super-skilled guard was largely unknown to us, mostly because Big Lake hasn't been in the limelight for some time now. It didn't take Layton long to make a strong impression. With length, bounce, speed, and quickness, Greta has all the physical tools required of players at the college level. Her natural feel for the game, ability to score at multiple levels, and high-revving motor help her stand out even further. Anyone who watched West Central's 2029 group play over the past few weeks can see that Layton is bursting with potential.
