PGH Legacy Region Finals: The best of Minnesota

In our previous coverage of the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit's Legacy Region Finals this week we have already looked at a number of players from the Minnesota AAU teams that participated in Appleton. Today, in our final article from this past weekend's PGH Circuit tournament, we bring you the best of the rest – four more players from Minnesota who delivered in Appleton.    A long, active 2027 wing who is pushing 6 feet tall, Duckett made her presence known early when we watched on Saturday with a hard baseline drive and a sharp assist to an open teammate. Then she remained impactful throughout the contest. Addie showed bounce, energy, and no hesitation in a physical contest where she barely left the floor. A three-sport athlete with limited varsity experience so far, Duckett is just starting to paint a picture of what's possible. Her size, athleticism, and versatility point to some real upside, especially if she decides to focus on basketball.     Harrison brings toughness and tempo to the floor. The 5'8 guard from Farmington sets the tone with gritty full-court defense – the kind that hits you early and often and doesn't let up. She's physical, intense, and relentless on the ball. On offense, Harrison pushes the pace, hunts scoring chances, and makes plays with both power and poise. Ranked #175 in Minnesota's 2026 class, she has shown in recent months that she is due for a jump. Harrison's steady improvement, balanced skill set, and old-school edge make her a player who is trending upward.     Klein is a 5'10 wing who does it all with effort and grit. Long and athletic, she plays inside and out – slashing hard to the rim, finishing through contact, and knocking down perimeter shots with growing confidence. She's assertive, vocal, and always in motion, cutting off the ball, tracking down rebounds, and distributing with vision. Klein isn't a racehorse, but she's efficient and disruptive from start to finish. Her defensive energy stands out, and her big motor makes her the kind of player who can tilt a game simply by refusing to stop.     Smolich has leveled up in every way this year – physically, mentally, and competitively. The 6'0 three-sport athlete now blends her length, strength, and quickness into a forceful all-around game. She led Spring Lake Park in scoring and rebounding last season and has added post moves, transition speed, and a reliable touch around the rim. Smolich runs like a gazelle in transition with a motor that never quits. Confident, mobile, and still realizing how good she can be, Smolich is fast becoming one of the more intriguing forwards in Minnesota's 2027 class.
