Sharp Shooters Scorching the Nets in Gainesville

Foss Live Period Academic Showcase has tipped off in Gainesville with some of the best teams from around the Sunshine State making their appearance in the swamp. Teams from South Florida, Central Florida, SWFL, the Panhandle, North Florida - you name it. She has a really smooth stroke from long range and knocked it down in the games I've seen. Her frame and size are really solid, and she can bring the ball up the floor as a big PG. Her size and frame make her a tough matchup and she can really knock it down from deep. I was impressed with some big blocks she was making on the defensive end as well. On the glass, she elevated really nicely to snag some boards. She probably has the deepest range out of anyone in the entire state. Ciara was going crazy in a couple games where she just couldn't be stopped at any level of the court with some tough finishes and impressive runners. With her height and her length, she's hard to matchup with as an opposing guard. Plus, her range in unreal and you truly can't give her any room when she crosses half court. She wasted no time in the game I saw and hit three triples early with one being a filthy stepback. She can get her shot off quick and has really good rotation on it. Her unselfish play was spectacular as she made the extra pass and didn't force anything. She was shooting the ball very efficiently when I saw her on Friday from every area of the three-point line. Her form is textbook and her high release make it hard to defend as she's taller than most of the players who have to guard her.
