is one of the most productive and physical guards in the tournament, averaging 22.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 3.8 steals per game. What makes her numbers particularly unique is the fact that she averages a double-double as a guard. Her 20 point production is even more impressive when you realize that most of her points come from in the paint and in transition. She aggressively attacks the rim and plays through a lot of physical contact. Her toughness and willingness to battle inside make her one of the most impactful two-way guards in the playoffs. In a close game, she has the ability to take over and lead her team to a win – possibly two wins in Jacksonville.

was a problem for every opponent slashing to the rim. There were very few times she wasn’t able to get there with her quick first step and ability to find the angle and finish through contact using the backboard. Ashlynn consistently put up points, and toward the later stages of games, when teams tried to pack the paint or go under screens to slow her down, she showcased her ability to knock down the three. Either way, she was scoring three points—whether the old-school way with an and-one or from long range. Day’s awareness of when to use high or low pickups on the drive was impressive, and her deep bag of finishes around the rim makes her tough to stop.

, as a freshman, scored an impressive 610 points, averaging 22.6 PPG with a season-high of 34 points and multiple 20+ point performances. Simply put—Ashlynn is a bucket, whether it’s night or day. She carried this scoring ability into the travel season on the Under Armour circuit, where she even competed at times with the 17U team and still found ways to get her shots off. The question now is: will she emerge as the top scorer at the Sophomore Showcase?

Ashlynn has emerged as one of the top players in the Orlando area, regardless of class. She’s been playing very well since being called up to 17U on the GUAA circuit. Her motor and will to score the rock from anywhere will take her far. AD already owns a verbal offer from Arkansas.

Day is a playmaker in all aspects of the game. Her length and smooth handles allow her to attack the basket and score at will. A player not afraid to let it fly from deep but also cuff it and get downhill. She creates match up nightmares with her ability to score at all 3 levels. Day showed why she is one of the top 2028s in the state of Florida.

bring the energy and production all game long. Day is an athletic, lengthy, guard who thrives in the open floor and can finish at the rim with craftiness, physicality, and consistency. Last season, Day was one of the top players in the State in any class. She finished in the top 30 in scoring for the entire State and was the 3rd leading scorer in the Freshman class. The most amazing part of that feat is that Day only made 12 three pointers for the entire season. A number that speaks to her physicality is the 169 freethrow attempts she had last year. At the Wildcat Shootout, Day brought all of that smoke and played her game: drawing fouls, diving for loose ball, taking charges, etc. Her ability to penetrate and convert is why she is one of the most elite scorers in the State. She was fun to watch and her energy and production impressed every college coach in the building.

Ashlynn was lights out when I saw her on Friday. She can get her shot off quick and has really good rotation on it. Her unselfish play was spectacular as she made the extra pass and didn’t force anything. AD love the scoop finish around the rim & does a nice job of protecting the rock when she’s headed to the rim.
