When the high school season concludes and attention shifts to travel and camp ball, among the many dates that gets circled on the calendars of many are live periods.

One of those live periods for this year was the second weekend of June – camp month. This year's SC Live Team Camp returned to Riverview Park in North Augusta right next to the Savannah River. Among the teams that were on hand – the six state champions from this past season.

We at Prep Girls Hoops also made the trip out to North Augusta for this year's festivities. Without further ado, let us take one more look at a few from the upcoming season's junior class that certainly made the most of this live period.

Any team that is looking to keep 5A T.L. Hanna out of the win column has to find a way to contain Earl. Many have tried and most have failed. During the travel schedule, Earl wears the uniform of AEBL Girlz. While she may be 5-foot-10, she possesses the rim-attacking skills of many a guard which is why she can play at the two. Rebounding is becoming more and more of a strength as well as the years progress. In 2024-25, Earl posted career numbers of 16 points and 6.3 rebounds per contest plus 3.2 steals a game as well.

Robinson saw a massive jump in playing time this past season. As a freshman, she only saw playing time in five games. That total increased to 25 as a sophomore. When seeing how active she is as a defender away from the ball, that can easily be cited as a reason for her increased playing time. Robinson balances her athletic schedule with a pair of court sports – basketball and volleyball. As a shooting guard, Robinson can give a 3-point dimension to a team's offense. Track at one point has also occupied some of her time as an athlete – and there are attributes to track that can translate well to basketball.

On previous versions of 5A Division 1 Spring Valley, Briggs was an x-factor for the Vikings as she provided plenty of height and depth. Briggs could be more of a featured player going forward on the next pair of Vikings teams. She is an intriguing prospect because of her height and the position she plays. She is listed as a 5-foot-11 small forward. When one thinks 5-foot-11 – especially considering Briggs' build – it is easy to think that she would be more of a traditional five. Briggs not only defies conventional wisdom by thriving at the three, she defies conventional wisdom by thriving at the 3-point shot.

Between the less-than-conventional manner in which Ashley Ridge's 2024-25 season concluded plus graduating a bevy of seniors, one may think the Swamp Foxes may no longer be in the contender's chat for now. Not so fast. A product of FBC Region 2027 GUAA (Under Armour), Foley stands at an even six feet. She was particularly effective with attacking the rim – sometimes in the half-court offense and in transition on other occasions. Foley was also collecting steals and displayed guard-like skills by getting from one end of the floor to the other. She also recently landed an offer from Division II Flagler in Florida.

A major reason why Dutch Fork has been one of South Carolina's premier high school teams is the success the 5A Division 1 Silver Foxes have had in the painted area. Crumlin's work as a frontcourt force has contributed to that fact. A double-double possibility on a game-by-game basis, Crumlin averaged nine points and nine rebounds per contest – proof of her scoring and rebounding capabilities. She also blocked three shots per contest in the 25 games she played in last season plus 2.1 steals. When one is 6-foot-2 as Crumlin is, the words “matchup” and “advantage” automatically come to mind.
