Delaney and the Lady Bobcats delivered an impressive performance in their Tuesday night win over Gardner Edgerton. Delaney ran the team with confidence, showcasing her full skill set—scoring, passing, rebounding, and overall floor leadership.
Wittkop did an excellent job controlling the pace, helping the team choose the right moments to push in transition while also executing smoothly in the half-court offense. Delaney kept her teammates involved throughout the game and demonstrated her strength rebounding from the guard position.
She finished just shy of a triple-double, posting 13 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists, and 5 steals in a standout all-around effort.

Delaney has what you would call a true passing gift. Her baller IQ is at a thousand. She is a true point guard who also knows how to play like a Big. She understands how to post up smaller guards and make a seal in the post, while also leading a break and making ridiculously good outlet passes. Not to mention, her superior rebounding as a guard, which allows her to grab the board and take off. She’s deceptively fast and quick with a decent handle on the rock. She understands her angles with the glass and uses the backboard appropriately. Her overall game reminds me of “Chelsea Gray”! She has no real weaknesses on the court that I can see that would hinder her in any major way. She is Elite!

Wittkop played with a high motor and high intensity level throughout the EXPO, but especially during 3v3. She harassed ball handlers, forcing them into bad shots and turnovers. She was around every loose ball and showed her exceptional ability to rebound as a guard. Delaney also displayed a really solid handle as she was able to counter defense consistently to get to the basket and finish.

is quickly establishing herself as one of the more versatile guards in the Class of 2028. Last year, she aaveraged 10.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and an impressive 4.5 steals per game, Wittkop impacts every area of the floor. Her defensive instincts stand out most, racking up steals at a high clip while also serving as a playmaker who keeps her teammates involved. That well-rounded production earned her Second Team All-Conference honors in the United Kansas Conference this past season. With continued growth in shooting consistency and ball security, Wittkop’s mix of defensive energy, playmaking, and scoring makes her a player to watch closely as she develops into a leader for Basehor-Linwood.
