She Puts in Work Camp: Check out the (2026-2027) Players

Click on the article below discussing her performance in the 3-point competition. The thing I really like about Tycee game is her ability to get downhill off the dribble. Being such a good shooter the opposing team runs her off the line and I honestly believe that is where she is so dangerous. Great understanding of when the gap closes stopping on a dime hitting the pull up jumper. A good finisher at the rim with either hand avoiding the block. Against a zone she is the perfect fit at the high post. She can knock down the free throw jumper or put it on the floor splitting the gap getting to the bucket. She is a solid shooter from the outside. The form and quick release caught my attention in the 3-point shooting competition. The hands were ready on the catch no wasted movement of flipping the ball or readjusting the guide hand. On the catch she was ready to shoot or give a quick rip in a downhill attack. I think the downhill attack is the best part of her game. She uses the change of speed and direction with the ball setting up the defender for the attack to the opposite direction. The mid-range pull up is best move on the drive as is right in the gap between her and the help defense. The pull up jumper also allows her to use a small pocket dribble to lift the defender getting her to the rim as she is a crafty finisher.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Defensively she is off her girl and up the passing lanes waiting to jump the passing lane. A player that seemed to be around the ball as she was collecting deflections. When doing the crossover and in/out dribble she was selling the move with the hard jab step and shoulder fake. Really liked the double crossover as the ball was low and tight. The feet were moving forward ready to blow by the defender. I may have missed her in the shooting competition cause of doing some research this young lady can shoot. Impressive was the 3-point shot off the high pick. It is quick and right on top of the screen, meaning it is a guard you need to go over the screen.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In 5/5 I have in my notes I have highlighted Good Decisions! The decisions that stood out the most was when she got to the paint. On the drive she knew what she was looking for making the right pass to the open person. Check out article link below. A player that is very versatile in being able to shoot the 3 at a high percentage while helping at the point position. When needed she played point at times since she is a good ball handler as well. In the post up station she showed an up/under move while using a little bump to create space for the leg out jumper. A player that plays only one way and that is ALL IN. I lost track of how many times she was on the floor or in the mix for a loose ball. Good rebounding guard that can get up and down the court. A very solid shooter that has great balance and a perfect release. In the 1/1 station on the block, she used her strong lower body to hold off the defender and used a very quick turnaround move to score on the block. A player that definitely could post up on a small opponent and be effective. Really liked the mid-range game she brought during the 5/5 play. Good pull up at the logo on the drives with a nice smooth release off the dribble. At times he lifted up at the front of the rim with a one hand shot. Knocked down the tough short corner shots. Always moving without the ball losing her defender scoring several back door cuts. Seemed to be open in the right spots for the kick.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>An all-out hustler was underlined in my notes. I had the opportunity to watch her play the weekend before at the I-35 Summer Showcase. During the low post station, she did an amazing job on moving her feet in the circle not allowing the defense to slide around her. Great hands on the grab adjusting her positioning to get the pass. Good body control in the pos using strong legs using the bumps to her advantage. She put in work on the left block as if she was a natural left hand. She's NOT just adjusting as she mentioned high school point guard is a lefty. The impressive thing of the day was the 3-point jumper off a ball screen. It looked smooth as if she could play the 3 guard. She made nice shooting runs in the competition getting hot in several spots. Good form on the shot with a nice follow through. Good ball handler that uses a strong push crossover getting to the paint. Nice vision on the drives reading the defense dropping several good passes to the backside for easy points. Showed a good pump fake then slide step for the knock down 3-point shot on hard on hard defensive closeouts. A player seeing for the first time that brought lot of energy on defense as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
