The weekend past represented the final live period of the 2025 calendar year – and the conclusion of the 2025 travel schedule.

If there was any period during the year where there would be a litany of recruiting news, it would be this one. Indeed, there is.

The AAU schedule reaching its crescendo means non-travel showcase events – including the Prep Girls Hoops Freshman Showcases, Sophomore ID Camps and Expos – will rule the roost from now until the regular season tips off in November.

Without further ado, here is the latest on who is offering who as Prep Girls Hoops remains busy on the recruiting trail.

Earl recently landed her first Division I offer – but one has to believe it will not be the final time Earl is offered by such a school prior to her graduation in a couple of years. It was an in-state offer from SC State. Earl has made plenty of news lately, not only via her offer from the Bulldogs, but by also announcing she would transfer from 5A Division 2 T.L. Hanna to 4A state power Westside. Earl has been in the varsity ranks since she was in the eighth grade and posted career numbers last season with the Yellow Jackets. She averaged 16 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.2 steals last season.

In two seasons at the high school level, Riles has established herself as one of the signature prospects across the state – all before she plays her freshman season. The highly touted prospect from 2A Lake City recently landed offers from Voorhees and Allen. Riles' play was a key factor in a 10-win improvement for Lake City from its 2023-24 showing in addition with being reclassified from 3A down to 2A. During her eighth-grade season, Riles averaged 12.2 points and three steals per contest. She helped the Panthers conclude last season with a 17-8 record and will be entering the 2025-26 season with heightened expectations.

Getting used to seeing McMillan hoop in any colors other than black and Vegas gold (2A Fairfield Central) will take a bit, but that will be the case as she has taken her talents to the SCISA ranks with 4A Hammond. She did get offered by a school that sports similar colors as her former high school home in Anderson. McMillan is another who has been at the high school varsity level since she was in the seventh grade and posted averages of 17.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 steals last season for the Griffins. Her addition is much needed for the Skyhawks as they are coming off a dismal 1-16 season.

Nai is ready to play. As a senior, Sumter has one more season left at the high school level before she enters the college ranks. The veteran standout from 4A Lower Richland added another offer as Shorter has her on its radar. Sumter adds the Shorter to previous looks she already received from a pair of in-state schools in Claflin and Allen. She recently concluded her final AAU schedule with [program_tooltip program_id='783909' first='Palmetto' last='76ers/A'ja Wilson Elite'] at the Nike Tournament of Champions in Chicago. Sumter averaged 13.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.9 steals for a Diamond Hornets team that finished last year with a 25-2 record.

As SCISA 4A First Baptist looks to finish its unfinished business from last season, one can expect Braddick to be the featured big for the 2025-26 version of the Hurricanes. A premier big on both offense and defense, Braddick landed a pair of Division I offers from UT-Arlington and Tulsa. She also was part of the [program_tooltip program_id='783909' first='Palmetto' last='76ers/A'ja Wilson Elite'] 17U team that took part at the Nike Nationals in Chicago. Braddick was a great help to First Baptist's run to the SCISA 4A state championship game as she averaged 7.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per contest in 2024-25.
