The Florida 2028 class has reached the point where rankings movement says less about ability and more about the depth. This class is that strong. You can select five names from anywhere in the top 100, and they would stack them up against any other five chosen. Every corner of the 2028 class has players who can compete, produce, and win (at least keep it close). The beauty of the 2028 class is that you can build a five from almost anywhere in the rankings and feel confident they can line up against anybody and compete. Here's a group that was selected at random and this selection shows the depth, balance, and competitive fire in the 2028 class. You chose five and we will meet you at the gym.

[player_tooltip player_id='515006' first='Rachael' last='Luis'] (#39, down from #23) – A dangerous scorer, nudged down by the influx of new guards, Luis is an athletic forward who thrives on activity. She's constantly in passing lanes, deflecting balls, and making opponents uncomfortable. Her length allows her to contest shots and elevate for rebounds, while offensively she has shown the ability to finish clutch layups and even tip-ins around the rim. Luis is developing into a reliable presence in the middle, bringing energy, athleticism, and timely scoring. She is State Champion who impacted last year's finals on the boards and with her defense in the paint.

Crawford is as versatile as they come, with the basketball IQ to match. She's proven she can bang inside as a 5, but she can also handle the ball in small stretches as the 1 — a rare skill set for a player her size. Offensively, she's comfortable scoring on the block with "up-and-under shots," bank shots, and baby hooks, and she can also step out and knock down shots from the perimeter. Crawford's ability to rebound and then push the ball herself makes her dangerous in the transition game. Whether she's anchoring the paint, spacing the floor, or initiating offense, Crawford gives any five a do-it-all forward/center who raises the ceiling of the group.

[player_tooltip player_id='515000' first='Rainah' last='Small'] wasted no time last year making her mark as a freshman, stepping onto the big stage at the Inside Exposure Thanksgiving Tournament and immediately proving she belonged. She knocked down multiple threes against a defending state championship team and went toe-to-toe with some of the state's other top young guards without blinking. Her shooting stroke from deep and defensive intensity stood out, and she showed the confidence to perform under pressure. Now a Sophomore, Small is poised for a breakout season and at a different school — one where her numbers should increase, Small the type of guard who stretches the floor and gives any “five” a reliable shooter and competitor.

[player_tooltip player_id='514918' first='Adelynn' last='Curry'] is the kind of wing who changes the tempo the moment she checks in. She's extremely athletic — not just on the basketball floor but as a standout in other sports — and that explosiveness translates into every possession. Offensively, she can get to the rim and score in a variety of ways: powering through contact for layups, pulling up for short jumpers, or dropping in a floater. Defensively, her quickness and energy let her hound ball-handlers, stop drives and close off lanes. Curry plays with a relentless motor that keeps her group on the attack, making her the type of versatile, two-way athlete every “five” needs when building a lineup to challenge anyone.

Parsons was one of the true breakout players at the Reps on Reps showcase. She consistently attacked the rim, finishing tough plays through contact and showing the strength to handle physical defenders. With great handles and a natural flair to her game, she created off the dribble and showed the ability to blow by defenders to get to the basket. Parsons brings a competitive edge every time she steps on the court, and her combination of confidence, creativity, and scoring ability makes her a dangerous addition to any lineup. She's the kind of play making guard who can tilt a game in her team's favor.

This randomly selected group brings everything you'd want in a lineup — creativity in the back court, athleticism on the wings, toughness inside, and a versatile anchor in the paint. With Parsons setting the table, Curry and Small providing scoring punch, Luis adding energy on the defensive end, and Crawford holding it all together, this five has the pieces to compete with anyone they face.
