Rachael Luis Rachael Luis 6'1" | SF Miami Country Day | 2028 State FL was on the attack from the onset and showcased some facets of her game that she hasn’t displayed much over the past few years. Luis showed an ability to get to the rim, on offense, was agressive and physical on defense, and scored consistently on the break, showcasing speed, physicality, and athleticism. Luis defended well on the perimeter and in the paint, and was physical doing so. Her aggressive approach and physical two-way play allowed her to consistently impact the game on both ends.

Luid definitely was a contributing forward in the SUTS New Year Classic. She made her presence felt inside with strong rebounding and timely rim protection. She finished around the basket and recorded several key blocked shots.

She’s constantly in passing lanes, deflecting balls, and making opponents uncomfortable. Her length allows her to contest shots and elevate for rebounds, while offensively she has shown the ability to finish clutch layups and even tip-ins around the rim. Luis is developing into a reliable presence in the middle, bringing energy, athleticism, and timely scoring. She is State Champion who impacted last year’s finals on the boards and with her defense in the paint.

She also showed up in the State Finals and made her presence felt as a Freshman. She averaged nearly 8 points per game and over 7 rebounds per game. She is close to becoming a walking double-double. Rachael Luis Rachael Luis 6'1" | SF Miami Country Day | 2028 State FL is emerging as one of the top young forwards in the 2028 class. An active and instinctive defender, Luis is constantly around the ball—deflecting passes, contesting shots, and making plays on both ends. Her length and bounce allow her to elevate for rebounds and impact the game both in the paint and on the perimeter. She made her presence felt on the biggest stage with clutch baskets and timely defensive reads.

Rachael is easily one of the best athletes in the entire state and has the potential to be a Top 10 player in this class. She’s also a high level volleyball player, so it remains to be seen which sport she will want to play at the next level (maybe both?). Her athleticism and length make her an intriguing prospect on both ends of the floor. She uses that length to block and deter shots, but also gets a lot of deflections too. Her ability to rebound and then score it make her dangerous for opposing teams.

Rachael Luis made her presence felt, especially in the Semifinals. Luis grabbed 11 rebounds and showed a high level of athleticism and competitiveness against Nalah Smith Nalah Smith 6'2" | C Evangelical Christian | 2026 State FL of Evangelical Christian. Luis was also a presence in the paint on defense. She blocked one shot, had a steal, several deflections, and contested and altered shots in the middle. Luis was impressive and the numbers don’t tell just how impressive the Freshman was.

Rachael Lewis made her presence felt on the defensive end in the 2A Semifinals. The Freshman big kept the paint protected until she picked her fifth foul. Luis is quick, agile and very athletic . She prevented drives to the rim and contested those that came into the paint. Luis also grabbed 6 rebounds. She impacted the game on defense and effort.
