[player_tooltip player_id='747374' first='Izzie' last='Galligan'] is set to have a Senior year as the leader of the Millard North Mustangs. Galligan, a skilled SG at 5'9, is college committed and ready to roll. She just finished up with another successful AAU season under the NE Attack name on the road this Summer, making the most of her opportunities. At North, Galligan will be their top dawg. She will be looked at by her teammates as their unquestionable leader so as along as she sets everyone else up for success, along with their coaching staff, they should be in great shape for another run over the next few months.

Lincoln Southwest will return some dawgs this Winter to their front lines at the Varsity level and one of those dawgs is [player_tooltip player_id='820519' first='Eleanor' last='Griffin'] at the SG position. Griffin has that mixture of size, skill, and smarts that everyone collegiate coaching staff likes to see. She has a quick trigger off the catch and she can light the nets on fire in the blink of an eye once she see's one go in from the star. While having a skilled PG to facilitate the ball in Kaytee Irons, there should be ample opportunities for everyone who plays off the ball this Winter. Players like Griffin.

I'm very curious as to how [player_tooltip player_id='727105' first='Taryn' last='French'] will place within the system at UNK when she finally gets there following this next season. French is a crafty SG, who has good size and understanding of situational awareness for her position. She moves off the ball really well in open space, always using screens to her advantage whenever she can. She prefers to come off the catch to shoot the ball but in reality, she can let it fly from anywhere and it always seems like it's going in off the release. Gretna East will standout with their guard play this Winter and French will be a main reason because of that.

Omaha Marian has some interesting pieces at all positions across the board. [player_tooltip player_id='758890' first='Emelia' last='Daubendiek'] is one of those interesting pieces at the SG spot. Not only can ED shoot the ball at a steady rate, she can also use he size and body to punish players physically by the hoop. She isn't a post player but she knows at 6'0 where she makes her money and she just happens to be able to shoot the ball at a steady rate from distance. That's been on display for years now if you have been paying attention on the high school floor and on the travel floor. Within her Marian system, ED should be ready for all types of buckets this Winter. There is no doubt about that.

Another hooper that is a D1 commit going to UNO is [player_tooltip player_id='820879' first='Ava' last='Markowski'] of Pius X High School. Markowski, a 5'11 SG, is a natural at shoot the rock from deep. Doesn't matter the situation, time on the clock, the play being ran, or any of that - if she has open space and good time, it's usually going to be a good attempt. Coming off of another successful AAU season with ETG, Markowski is locked in for this upcoming season of high school ball and I don't blame her. She is going to be looked upon to carry a lot of her team in reality so it'll be nice to see how that unfolds moving forward.
