is set to have a Senior year as the leader of the Millard North Mustangs. Galligan, a skilled SG at 5’9, is college committed and ready to roll. She just finished up with another successful AAU season under the NE Attack name on the road this Summer, making the most of her opportunities. At North, Galligan will be their top dawg. She will be looked at by her teammates as their unquestionable leader so as along as she sets everyone else up for success, along with their coaching staff, they should be in great shape for another run over the next few months.

is off the board to Rockhurst College out of Illinois. If you know anything about this program at the next level, you know that they love to recruit shooters that are automatic from deep and that’s what Galligan is. She can light the nets on first in a hurry, she can take her defender off the dribble if need be, and she can impact other parts of the game like defending and rebounding as well when given the opportunities. This is someone that should play sooner rather than later within this system. If she can show

Millard North should be led this Winter by a mixture their Senior leadership and their underclassmen’s natural ability. Someone who is going to be looked upon in every big situation will be SG – Izzie Gilligan. Galligan has been the go-to for years now. Last season they had multiple others step up to make their marks but Galligan will still a household name. In this Update Galligan comes in at #4. I’m hoping she has a big push over the next month during her live College Viewing Live Period. She has that swagger to be a difference maker in the right system. It’s just all about the fit at the end of the day.

a couple of weeks ago. Galligan, a 5’9 SG, primarily sticks at the 2 spot but she can also run the PG position if need be. She is the definition of a natural 2 but sometimes you have to be versatile within your own system and Galligan embodies that. When looking at Galligan’s current offers she does possess a D1 offer from down south but I would be surprised if that is where she chooses to go. College is all about fit and I have a feeling that Galligan’s fit will be much better, closer to home but who knows. If she plays to her full capabilities on the road this AAU season, who knows who could come in with a late offer to steal her away.

type things on Thursday evening in her team’s contest against Westview. Galligan accounted for 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists in her team’s narrow loss, demonstrating a little bit of everything for anyone that might be watching. One of the main leaders and real dominant sources of energy for the Mustangs these past 2.5 years has been Galligan. She brings fire to the court and helps pump up her teammates with her contagious energy. She still has a year of AAU left but I’m sure that whoever gets Galligan after high school, is getting a coordinated competitor who will do anything to win. That’s something that everyone can vibe with.

of Millard North comes in at #4 in this Update and as the #1 rated Shooting Guard throughout this Class. Galligan is going to be the primary force on her Mustangs team this Winter. With her consistent shooting ability, her shifty handle, and her situational awareness, it makes sense that this team will look to get her the ball in key situations throughout their Winter. Galligan does possess a D1 offer to compete follow her high school career but I’m not sure if that’s where she will end up. I do think she will have some other options that will appease her around the Midwest. She just needs to continue to keep her head down and to keep working.

of Millard North High School recently received her first D1 offer this past few months and she is looking to build on that with the Mustangs this upcoming high school season. Galligan has been a killer on most courts she competes on. She is a prospect at the SG position that possesses a quick and efficient trigger from deep, she can handle the rock, she passes just as well as she scores it herself, and she can be moved around at the guard position while yielding positive results, no matter where she is placed by her coaching staff. Galligan is going to end up as a collegiate player by the time she is a Senior but to which level? I’m not sure. She might end up liking some high-end D2 programs instead of going D1 but we will just have to wait and see.

picked up her first but certainly not last, Division-1 collegiate offer. Galligan was offered by Southeast Missouri State moving into the Fall, giving her some momentum and confident right before her Junior year begins with the Millard North Mustangs. I have Galligan as a future Mid-Major prospect at the moment, so I would be surprised if she didn’t pick up some more offers this next twelve months. She has been someone that her team has looked up to the past few Varsity seasons and that won’t change any time soon by the looks of it.

of Millard North, which is scary because she is a very well-rounded prospect at this point in her career. Galligan has been a constant on the high school basketball scene these past two years and I’m not expecting that to change any time soon. This upcoming month of July and moving into the high school season, I’m hoping she can continue to work and take her game to a whole other level. Galligan is a crafty handling guard, that can lead a team whenever she is bringing the ball up the floor or when she is attacking from the 2-spot. Offensively, she has demonstrated that she has a picture perfecting shooting stroke from deep or she can put it on the ground and get to other favorable spots in her team’s offense. Defensively, she is someone that makes her mark on either end of the court almost every contest. She is a menace against weak ball handlers and her natural instincts allow her to really set the tone to start a game. Whether she is picking up in the full court or in half court sets. In the end, Galligan could turn into being the steal of this 2026 Class for some lucky college. She doesn’t have a ton of offers yet, which kind of surprises me honestly. This is someone that could take the collegiate floor already so it really makes you think what she could become over the next two season, before that time comes.

and Millard North didn’t end their season how they would have imagined but that has only motivated everyone on that roster more moving into the travel season. Galligan is a Swiss army knife when it comes to her play-style. She is a natural guard, that can shoot it or distribute it at a high rate. Over the past 3 years, no matter what court she is on, she has produced in one way or another. This is another Guard that can move around to a handful of positions and be successful. She has shown that time and time again. I’m not sure what collegiate programs have reached out but I’m sure there are a handful that are keeping an eye on her. She has the “it” factor and that is something you can’t teach. You are just born with it and from an outside perspective, she has it.
