In Lincoln Southwest’s A-7 district final win over Millard North, Griffin scored 20 points and grabbed three rebounds. The sharp-shooting lefty who is committed to Wayne State was 3-for-3 from 3-point range and added a 9-for-12 performance from the free throw line. This season, Griffin is averaging 11.7 points and leads the Silverhawks in blocks. Griffin will be a key player in Lincoln Southwest’s rubber match game with Kearney on Wednesday.

Lincoln Southwest will return some dawgs this Winter to their front lines at the Varsity level and one of those dawgs is

at the SG position. Griffin has that mixture of size, skill, and smarts that everyone collegiate coaching staff likes to see. She has a quick trigger off the catch and she can light the nets on fire in the blink of an eye once she see’s one go in from the star. While having a skilled PG to facilitate the ball in Kaytee Irons, there should be ample opportunities for everyone who plays off the ball this Winter. Players like Griffin.

of Lincoln Southwest High School just committed to D2-Wayne State this week, locking in her future at the collegiate level. Griffin is a prospect coming in at 6’0, who would be considered a SG or a CG in some offenses. With her natural height she can also take her matchup into the Post and dominant with her length but she is versatile enough to be able to step out to the three point line and kick down some buckets too at a higher rate than most others. I’m not sure how Griffin fits into the new system at Wayne State but following this Winter, we will see.

This AAU Spring/Summer season is a vital one for anyone out of this 2026 Class. It’s the time that all colleges are in full-swing to stack their rosters for years to come. A prospect that is going to pick up a ton of attention with her ETG Midwest
Elite
3SSB program is SG –

. Griffin is a lights out three point shooter with great height at 6’0. This height gives Griffin the natural advantage to be able to shoot over most smaller defender that might be in her space or that might be closing out on rotation. With her AAU program, Griffin gets to play her natural position and it’s fun to watch. When she has a few ball handlers around her creating off the dribble, she knows where to move into space for open looks and those looks like to go in a lot. Prior to this Winter, Griffin had D2 interest from a few places. If she plays to her full capabilities these next six months, who knows who might be in to watch and offer her.

of Lincoln Southwest High School was a contributing factor last year at the Varsity level, helping her team to an overall 22-4 record. Following this season, Griffin took her talents to the AAU floor with her ETG Midwest
Elite
3SSB team and built on her momentum. This is a prospect that has better than average height for her position at 6’0, she has a flame thrower from deep, and she doesn’t settle. Her natural size and reach gives her an advantage in most situations on the court against other opponents. Griffin is the #10 rated player in her Class in this Update, so it’ll be interesting where she can take things next for her Junior season. Her roster is going to bring in a really talented PG, so if she can find her teammates per usual, it’s going to be a very successful season for Griffin and company.

of LSW High School is one of the biggest additions and stock-risers so far this Spring throughout the state of Nebraska. Griffin is a lefty Shooting Guard with height at 6’0, who can knock down a whole lot of shots from all over the perimeter. If the defense decides to overplay her shooting ability, she can also put the ball on the floor and get into the teeth of the defense for an easier bucket near the rim. Defensively, her height is a real factor for a lot of opponents. She is disciplined enough to stay down on pump fakes, making it a tough time for small prospects to shoot over her contested reach. All in all, Griffin has a big time future on the court at this point. That’s been on full display this AAU season and I don’t expect that to change as they compete for a National Championship on the Adidas Circuit.

. Griffin is a lengthy and fast acting prospect. She has the potential to jump off the paper in almost every statical category if she keeps working on her game overall. This weekend she has put up some big stat lines to help her team win their contests. She has shown up on every occasion so far and knocked it out of the park. She just needs to stay locked in and I’m sure that trend will continue throughout Sunday at their Adidas Event.

of Lincoln Southwest High School. Griffin is going to be one of the longer individuals that this group has so I wouldn’t be shocked if she was starting at their 3 position, even though she is a dead-eye shooter from behind the three point line. She is a lefty, that has demonstrated the ability to become unconscious from behind the arc but she has also demonstrated that she can also take her defender off of the dribble and finish in the paint. Within this program and on this team, her versatility is going to be a huge factor in their success. If they have a game where they aren’t making as many shots from deep as they would like, they are going to look at their Forwards/Center to help them out. This would be a situation where you could move Griffin around and keep the defense guessing or you could throw her in the post to dominate a smaller matchup. Defensively, this verisilty works in her favor once again. She is lengthy and quick enough to stay on a smaller guard or she can play big and get a ton of tips/deflections near the rim against someone who may have some size on her. Either way, Griffin has the potential to be very good when the dust settles. If she continues to play to her strengths, she is going to continue to shine.
