Senior Leadership ’26 PGs Leading the Charge in Tennessee

I have touched on some PGs throughout Middle Tennessee, as well as top kids who play the position throughout the state. However, there is another tier of kids who play this position who themselves are go-getters and crafty with the rock in their hands as well. To be efficient and effective as a PG is all a coach asks for. Someone who can lead, take care of the ball, facilitate an offense, go get a bucket when needed, and play hard-nose defense. Those qualities are what, if not most, coaches look for in a PG.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We all know about the top girls such as [player_tooltip player_id='513227' first='Meeyah' last='Green'], [player_tooltip player_id='513232' first='Nya' last='Burns'], [player_tooltip player_id='1327088' first='Franziska' last='Kelly'], [player_tooltip player_id='513237' first='Ava' last='Jarrett'], [player_tooltip player_id='513233' first='Natalya' last='Hodge'], and [player_tooltip player_id='593347' first='Chelby' last='Jordan']. However, more young ladies are just as effective but may not have the same accolades as some of those girls, which is ok, as they, too, will and are having a successful career in their own right. From scoring to facilitating the offense, her hand will be in the mix, especially when it comes to executing the offensive game plan. This young lady is a multi-level threat who will surely be one of the top kids in her district. She, too, will be relied heavily on to carry her squad deep into the tournament. She can handle the rock, shoot lights out, and really be a source of leadership that her teams look at. She fights tooth and nail on both ends of the floor, giving it her all for the Lady Cavs. From running the show to knocking shots down from 3, her ability to make things happen elevates the club in more ways than one. She is a trooper, someone who doesn't back down from competition. This young lady is solid when it comes to executing an offense. A heady ball player who plays with pace and space. She knows when to attack, knows when to set up, but most importantly, she knows when to feed the hot hand. She has a nice set of handles that let her attack, getting paint touches with ease. A dump down here, float game there, or pull-up jumper, she can infiltrate the middle of a defense and finish. Might I add, she can launch 3s from anywhere along the arc, shooting it with confidence as it hits the bottom of the net. She is a tough kid to corral as she plays with a lot of speed. She can stop and pop from many spots on the floor, knock down 3s, and also finish at the rim. She is a tough defender with quick hands that poke balls loose, creating transitional opportunities. Plays with speed, power, and grit, she is going to give you her best every time she steps onto the floor. I love her ability to push the ball in transitions, leading to layups, open shots, etc. She's a heady ball player who doesn't force, plays with poise, and is filled with energy. Her game speaks volumes, and she will be looked upon as a leader for her ball club. From scoring to making timely assists to playing tenacious defense, Kara is a legit kid who can cause disruption anytime she is on the floor.<br><br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
