Quarterly, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana releases its updated rankings for each class. Last Thursday, we released our Fall Update for the Class of 2026. There was some slight movement throughout the Top 125, in addition to several new additions to the watch list, as we added 27 prospects to what already existed. Below is a look at the prospects currently listed with the center position as their primary position.

BREAKOUT CANDIDATES:
[player_tooltip player_id='1131946' first='Macy' last='Curtis'], 2026, 6-1 C, Frankton H.S.
- I saw Macy last Winter, and she is an intriguing frontcourt prospect. She is also a talented volleyball player, and that might be where her future is, but on the basketball court, she moves fairly well, she does a nice job of protecting the paint, but she can also come out on the floor and defend a little. Additionally, she can box out or pursue rebounds. Offensively, she has a nice mid-range jumper, and she can occasionally extend it to 3-point range. With very little left on the roster following 2025s graduation, she could be the main source of production for the Eagles.

[player_tooltip player_id='486553' first='Natalie' last='Thomas'], 2026, 6-2 C, Fishers H.S.
- Natalie has seen Varsity experience in the past, but this season, she could be primed for a much bigger role. She has a strong frame, she's physical at the point of contact, plus she moves fairly well for a post. She has good hands, solid footwork, and she can score anywhere from the low-block to the mid-post. Over roughly the past year and a half, she has gotten stronger, more explosive, and just stayed healthy, and it has really helped her game. Now, she's playing at a consistently productive level, especially skillfully, and Fishers could utilize her a lot.

ON THE RISE:
[player_tooltip player_id='928917' first='Jayonna' last='Flotow'], 2026, 6-1 C, Fort Wayne North Side H.S.
- Jayonna is really just starting to scratch the surface, but she could be a nice prospect for small colleges to work with. She has tremendous length, a wiry strength, and she gets up and down the floor North/South very well. She plays hard, tries to be physical, and she is somewhat athletic vertically. Right now, she is more of a defender/rebounder type, but she is starting to show more instinctive post moves, and as she continues to get some 1-on-1 coaching attention, that could only speed up her progress. She definitely could be a "steal" for some school.

[player_tooltip player_id='624885' first='Miley' last='Wareing'], 2026, 6-1 C/PF, Fort Wayne Northrop H.S.
- Miley returned from a severe knee injury in the Spring of 2024 quickly and played last Winter. Not only that, but she made herself leaner, stronger, and more explosive. Throughout this Spring, she looked like she was still figuring it all out again, but by May, June, and July, she was outstanding. She dominated games at times inside the paint, and she did so by utilizing both her strength and her athleticism to outplay opponents. She started to show a nice mid-range game as well, and if that continues to improve, she could be scary good at the next level.

NEW TO THE SCENE:
[player_tooltip player_id='1266853' first='Joslyn' last='Chesser'], 2026, 6-0 C/PF, Silver Creek H.S.
- When you first see Joslyn play, you can settle intro stereotypes and fool yourself. She has a strong, physical frame, broad shoulders, and she looks like a traditional back-to-the-basket post. Can she play on the block? Effectively. However, she will also get up & down the floor and rim-run, plus she has good hands and nice touch from the perimeter. She can be sort of a pick-and-pop '5' but also has the size & strength to be a pick-and-roll '5', so that versatility offensively makes her terribly intriguing. Defensively, she does a solid job with ball screens, too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1357844' first='Karri' last='Gammon'], 2026, 6-1 C, Northeastern H.S.
- Karri is a broad-shouldered, strong, physical, traditional post. She does have some length in her legs and arms, and she is an absolute lane-clogger defensively. She probably alters twice as many shots as she blocks from guards trying to get to the basket. Offensively, she keeps the ball high most of the time, she has solid pivot moves, and if she can develop a consistent half-hook with her length and height, she should be able to score over most college defenders. Ball screen defense out on the floor would be a slight concern, but she is good inside of 15-feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='1357836' first='Kaila' last='Leath'], 2026, 6-2 C, Tindley Accelerated H.S.
- I was able to see Kaila for the first time in July, and she is an incredibly intriguing small college prospect. She is another back-to-the-basket post with a broad, strong frame, some length, and solid all-around athleticism at her size. Offensively, she is still a bit raw and learning multiple finishing moves and advanced footwork, but she looks like she has been coached and has absorbed coaching. Defensively, she plays hard, blocks some shots, alters more, and is an active but physical rebounder. I think with a little more 1-on-1 work, she could be a "steal".

[player_tooltip player_id='1219773' first='Emma' last='Szany'], 2026, 6-2 C, Lake Central H.S.
- Emma is another big, strong, powerful, and extremely physical post prospect. During the 2024-2025 high school season, and even into the Spring, I felt like she simply "out-physicalled" people in almost a bully sort of way. But as June and July came and went, she was much more strategic in her approach, she used more skill scoring the basketball and played more often in the 15-foot range. Defensively, she was better out on the floor containing ball-handlers and she actively pursued more rebounds. She could become a really nice small college enforcer.
