The newly updated 2028 rankings brought plenty of movement. Several prospects used the spring and summer circuits to elevate their résumés, while others are making significant strides in skill development, physical growth, and overall command of the game.   Here are some of the 2028 stock risers who made the biggest impressions and are trending upward heading into the season.    Few players in the class generated as much momentum as Morris. She made a real statement on the EYBL stage, showing she can impact games against elite national competition. The scary part? She's nowhere near her ceiling. Morris is just scratching the surface of her potential — size, touch, defensive instincts, and a steadily expanding offensive bag. Her upward trajectory is undeniable.     One of the most exciting guards in the class, Molinar, is gearing up for a significant leap. She has always had an advanced feel, but now the game is slowing down for her at a different level. Add noticeable strength gains and a tighter handle, and you get a point guard ready to take ownership of games.     Rodgers is a long-term prospect with tremendous upside. Her work ethic is strong, her confidence is rising, and her athletic tools are off the charts. With two Division I athletes as parents, her genetics alone would draw attention—but it's her skill development that really stands out. She's beginning to tap into her potential, and once her offensive aggressiveness catches up, she could be a breakout star.     Reynolds is one of the most quietly productive young players in the class. She impacts the game without needing plays drawn for her — rebounding, switching defensively, helping, recovering, and making winning plays. She guards multiple positions and has the physicality to handle bigger bodies. A true “do-the-dirty-work” prospect every team needs.     Jacobsen continues to build momentum as one of the most versatile scorers in the class. She's a three-level threat, strong enough to finish through contact and skilled enough to stretch the floor. Her IQ and competitiveness separate her from most players her age.     Benway is one of the most dangerous guards in the class when she's aggressive. She plays with pace, sees the floor well, and controls tempo. But her scoring is where the jump is coming — expect that number to climb significantly this season. She's equally effective as a passer and shooter, and she always looks to make the right basketball play.     Sofia made considerable strides in balancing scoring and facilitating. Her ability to shift gears, create advantages, and draw defensive attention makes her challenging to stay in front of. She's confident, crafty, and getting more polished every time that I see her. With her added scoring consistency, she's a point guard who will continue to rise.     Ivy has been a defensive menace since middle school, and now the offensive growth is showing. She racks up steals, disrupts passing lanes, and sets the tone on that end. But it's the improved shooting mechanics and ability to get downhill that have her trending upward. If the offensive consistency matches her defensive energy, she will continue to climb the rankings.
