The leaders of the pack are the Lady Titans of Lee’s Summit West and their balanced team attack. Following close behind are Blue Springs South lead by super sophomore Jaidynn Mason and Blue Springs who is lead by super freshman Jada Williams. Rounding out the top 4 is Park Hill, who is lead by standout sophomore Kennedy Townsend.
TOP PERFORMERS
- Jada Williams – Freshman Combo Guard – 17ppg 4reb 4ast 3stl shoots 40% from the floor, 37% from 3, and 76% from the line. Jada is electric with the ball in her hands. She is already a complete player. The intensity and passion she plays with is rarely matched by her opponents.
- Kennedy Townsend – Sophomore Point Guard – 17ppg 7reb 3ast 2stl shoots 43% from the floor and 40% from 3. Kennedy is an elite shooter from the 3 point line. She can get to any spot on the floor with either hand. Her size at the guard spot allows her to guard any position on the floor.
- Jaidynn Mason – Sophomore Combo Guard – 13.7ppg 5.5reb 3ast 3stl shooting 45% from the floor. Jaidynn is a solid combo guard. She can handle it in the open floor or getting to the basket. Her basketball IQ is above average and she excels on the defensive end with her speed and quickness.
- Teresa Thomas – Senior Post – 13ppg 6reb shots 43% from the floor. Teresa is a solid post presence. She runs the floor well and is very active on defense in the post. She plays bigger than her listed height of 5’7″. Teresa is quick off her feet and can finish with either hand around the basket.
- Lauren Gillig – Junior Stretch Forward – 12.7ppg 5.6reb shoots 43% from the floor and 89% from the free-throw line. Lauren is a solid rebounder and post defender. She can score from mid-post range off the bounce and is an elite shooter from 3. Her pace of play is always under control.
- Elauni Bennett – Freshman Guard – 12.6ppg 5.5reb shoots 43% from the floor. Elauni is a very athletic and long guard. The lefty can get to the basket off the bounce and is an above-average shooter from three.
- Aliyah Green – Junior Post – 12ppg 9.9reb 2ast 2stl shoots 50% from the floor. Aliyah plays hard every possession and runs the floor like a guard. She has excellent footwork and can take the slower post off the bounce with ease from the mid-post area. Aliyah gets after the boards and defends the post very well with her length.
- Charli Ritchey – Senior Shooting Guard – 11ppg 4reb shoots 42% from the floor, 45% from 3, and is an 81% free throw shooter. Charli is one of the better shooters from the three-point line. Her quick release and ability to move to open spots on the floor, making her tough to guard.
