Here are five standout players to watch from the Girls Hoop Series event held on December 7 at Milton Academy by NERR. The event featured some of the top teams in the region and provided exciting preseason action. These players delivered impressive performances and are poised to have great seasons with their schools this year.    Danielle scored 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting and showcased a smooth, advanced handle for a taller guard. She created separation with ease, including a standout crossover that led to a highlight-worthy ankle breaker. She consistently beat her defender off the dribble, got into the paint, and finished at a high rate. Her durability was equally impressive, playing over 31 minutes and sitting for less than a minute, a testament to her elite conditioning.     Destiny added 13 points, including 2-of-5 from three, and showed her ability to score at all levels. She's a strong mid-range shooter who sets her feet quickly and gets her shot off with ease, and her range extends well beyond the arc where she shoots with impressive confidence. She also came through in the clutch, knocking down a big three late in the game.     Kiera earned Player of the Game against Greenwich Country Day with a standout performance of 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists. She consistently got into the paint and used her strength to finish through contact, converting multiple and-1 opportunities. Her high motor was evident as she chased every loose ball and battled for rebounds. She finishes confidently with either hand and also showed an extremely quick release from three, making her a versatile and reliable offensive threat.     Ryanne delivered 17 points and 6 rebounds in a win over Winchendon, giving her team a major boost on both ends of the floor. She wastes no time when she catches the ball beyond the arc, firing confidently and helping power her team's high-tempo offense. I watched her knock down multiple deep threes from several feet behind the line, shots that require real confidence to even take. She also brought consistent effort defensively, hustling in transition and chasing down opponents for blocks.     Zoe put together a dominant performance with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 steals to earn Player of the Game honors. She controlled the offense from start to finish, scoring from all three levels with deep threes, smooth mid-range shots, and creative finishes at the rim. As a tall and quick guard who can score from anywhere, she's almost impossible to match up with. Her teammates look for her constantly, and she rewards that trust by converting at a high rate and impacting the game on every possession.
