Sheehan poses a serious threat as a long-distance shot-maker, but she also brings a great deal of value on the defensive side of the ball. Her natural instincts, hustle to chase down blocks and active hands in passing lanes are all momentum killers for the opposing team. Ryanne will be a player to keep tabs on this summer; she’s poised for a major live period with RIBC.

Ryanne earned NEPSAC Class AAA All-Star honors and participated in the All-Star game this past Sunday after thriving all season. She consistently attacked the basket from the perimeter, getting into the paint where she finished well and drew contact to earn trips to the free throw line. Ryanne moves well without the ball, finding open space for teammates to deliver passes. She finishes with smooth, crafty moves such as euro steps and confidently drains deep threes coming off screens.

20 pts, 6 reb, 4 ast plus 3 bl was the stat-line for Sheehan over the weekend in a win over Cristo Rey. Ryanne was doing what she usually does, stepping up hitting big momentous shots, finding teammates in prime positions and making timely defensive highlight plays. The ’27 guard is starting the year off hot; she’ll be one to keep a close eye on with St. Andrew’s looking to make a push.

A bit of a slow start in this game for the shot-making guard. Ryanne was able to hit a step-back before the end of the half to reduce the lead to 11. To begin the second half, she knocked down back-to-back 3s that gave the team so much life. Sheehan’s baskets helped put the team in an ideal position to get the comeback victory, but it was her other characteristics that stood out in this game. She was encouraging teammates defensively to be aggressive, provided solid help on the rotations and was consistently hustling late in the game to keep her team in the mix. There was also positive communication to make sure teammates were all on the same page with their coverages too. Sheehan was essential in keeping her squad in the fight.

Ryanna Sheehan (2027) | 5’7 PG/SG | St. Andrew’s
Ryanne will be one to watch this weekend at the Nickerson Showcase. These upcoming matchups will be a great opportunity for the ’27 guard to show the many eyes watching what type of force she can be. There’s a lot to like about Sheehan’s game. Her resourcefulness on both ends of the floor, relentless hustle plus that superb ability to invigorate the team as she makes shots are just a few aspects that make her striking.

Ryanne delivered 17 points and 6 rebounds in a win over Winchendon, giving her team a major boost on both ends of the floor. She wastes no time when she catches the ball beyond the arc, firing confidently and helping power her team’s high-tempo offense. I watched her knock down multiple deep threes from several feet behind the line, shots that require real confidence to even take. She also brought consistent effort defensively, hustling in transition and chasing down opponents for blocks.

Sheehan has topnotch qualities as a 2-way impactor. She’s extremely quick, especially in the open court and that pays off on both sides. Sheehan has been known to track down some chase-down blocks as well as force ballhandlers into turnovers as they get sped up out of tempo. Ryanne can be a fluid scorer from her spots and she can get hot early on. Her exciting game makes her a can’t-miss prospect this season.

Ryanne is a promising point guard with a high ceiling. Sheehan has a game that’s well-suited for winning basketball. She’s coming into the new year after an AAU season where she had some major developments in her game. Ryanne’s momentum should help propel her straight into success from an early start. She’s a sniper from beyond the arc, but unlike typical shooters, Ryanne is an exceptional playmaker too. She possesses great court awareness and her decisive judgment skills help teammates get easy baskets. An underrated passer that gets her teammates the ball on time. Sheehan can be a great facilitator in the halfcourt, but she loves to play in up-tempo settings. The speedy pg can be very harmful to opponents in transition with her threat to pull up plus her blazing speed with the ball. Ryanne doesn’t need much to get going and that makes her threat at all times. The St. Andrew’s guard is an excellent talent that’s carving her distinguished game.
