This season has spoken volumes about Knight. Getting a chance to watch her as a freshman, it was abundantly clear she had potential as a 2-way talent. However, Zoe has exceeded expectations and with her superior performances lately, she’s made a considerable jump in the ranks. Knight is now listed as the #21 ranked player within the class.

Knight is a name to watch in the upcoming rankings and a likely riser in the list due to her topnotch performances this season. Zoe just posted 33 pts along with 9 reb in a 71-62 win over Winchendon. She’s been one of St. Andrew’s most impactful players so far. Knight came out swinging early and the advantages she brings are invaluable. There’s no question this is a scholarship level player with a bright future ahead of her. A ton of schools will be looking for a prospect like this to come into their program.

Zoe used a couple screen rejections to get herself some space and get downhill to the lane. She also knocked down shots smoothly with defenders in the vicinity. With the team’s offense fluctuating, it was clear she was going to have to be the one to assert herself. Zoe provided the most advantages and each made basket gained serious traction, especially to close the 3rd period. Defensively she brought the intensity through the whole game. She blocked a few shots in transition and stepped over flawlessly from the help-side. Altogether, Knight was one of the team’s driving forces.

Zoe put together a dominant performance with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 steals to earn Player of the Game honors. She controlled the offense from start to finish, scoring from all three levels with deep threes, smooth mid-range shots, and creative finishes at the rim. As a tall and quick guard who can score from anywhere, she’s almost impossible to match up with. Her teammates look for her constantly, and she rewards that trust by converting at a high rate and
impacting the game on every possession.

Zoe is a phenomenal all-around talent that greatly adds to the cohesiveness of the team. She attacks closeouts very well and has the ability to hit the open 3 from various spots on the floor. What makes Knight standout though is her defensive responsiveness. Zoe is one of the more reliable defenders that can be utilized in many ways in a game. She closes the gap quickly and her athleticism, along with her long arms make her a natural threat.

Even though the score was out of hand early on, when Zoe got inserted back into the game, she immediately scored off an inbound possession to get the and-1. The aggressiveness in her takes were noteworthy and that dynamic propensity off the bounce makes her a credible wing attacker. On the defensive side of the ball, Zoe was very reactive. She recovered to the cutters that found the open areas in the zone as they were flashing or diving hard. Knight was one of the more ubiquitous defenders in this game, even though the score spiraled at periods. She could be found at the top of the perimeter, guarding the primary ballhandler or on the backline regions.

Zoe offers tons of versatility as a defender and finds different ways to affect the game. She has a strong sense of court awareness that allows her to be in the proper position to assist in team defense. Knight isn’t afraid of contact either and she’ll initiate pressure to speed players up off their rhythm. Her length engulfs players while making them uncomfortable. The steady play from game to game can be relied upon because the defensive tactics seem to be embedded in her DNA.

Zoe was a standout player in a blowout win vs. Brimmer & May. Her all-around play proved to be overwhelming for a defense that couldn’t seem to contain her. She got superior looks without trying to do too much on the floor. Knight’s ability to capitalize on mismatch opportunities should be appreciated. When she got the ball, she made the most of her opportunities. The athleticism combined with her polished skillset made her a highlight from the game. Zoe is starting to become an undeniable talent.

The 6’0 Knight offers immense versatility with a game that’s awfully influentially to team success and high-level basketball. Knight is a do-it-all type of player that has many facets to her game. Zoe is a 2-way player with unbelievable upside. The athleticism is the first thing that stands out. She’s remarkably fast and has a long wingspan, so she’s a prospect that’s striking on the initial glance. Off the dribble, Knight is viscous attacking closeouts. There aren’t too many better in her class that can get all the way to the basket with limited resistance. The long strides allow her to get the preliminary defenders on her hip and stretches beyond the backline of the defense altogether. On the other side of the ball, Knight can cancel out opposing team’s better perimeter players. She makes it tough for players out there. Knight has no problem picking up players in transition and stopping the primary threat. Not one possession is taken off from Zoe. She ignites the team’s energy with her outstanding blocks and timely steals. The defense can be counted upon no matter what the offense looks like. She turns broken plays that into fast breaks that can get her some easy points. Knight will be under watch this season. She can certainly be one of the year’s top stock risers.

Zoe has an extremely high celling coming in as a sophomore for St. Andrew’s. She’s a 2-way player that has an all-around game. A pleasant 3-point shot that’s efficient, plus agile attacks off the dribble make up a lot of her offensive game. Quite honestly, there aren’t too many in her class with the potential she possesses. Knight could very well turn into a developed scorer with some more polishing creating off the dribble and gets more comfortable becoming a secondary facilitator. Even though Zoe is still growing, she already is one of the best at her position. The 3 &D skillset is always needed, but when a player like Knight can add some of the intangibles to the mix, teams will always be better with her on the floor. The 6’0 guard recently took a visit to Boston College and already has an offer from UNH thus far. Knight will garner some more attention from big name schools with a successful sophomore campaign.
