They are arranged below alphabetically by last name.
Chyna Anthony, 6-1 F/C, New Albany H.S.
Chyna is a tremendously athletic prospect who was just starting to scratch the surface as a high school Senior. She was a steal for Northern Kentucky University, because she has a lot of talent and potential to make a real impact these next three years. Last season as a Freshman, she saw action in 17 games and averaged 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. Her best game was probably against Oakland City last November when she posted 16 points and 9 rebounds.
Dana Evans of Louisville
Dana Evans, 5-6 PG, Gary West Side Leadership Academy
Dana is about as quick / fast, athletic, and dynamic as they come. She put up huge scoring numbers in high school, and she was a Miss Basketball finalist. She headed off to the University of Louisville where she played in 39 games as a Freshman, averaging 5.1 points, 3.4 assists, and 2.0 rebounds per game, which earned her a spot on the ACC All-Freshmen team. She posted 14 points and 7 assists last November in a game against Murray State.
Maliah Howard-Bass, 5-9 G, Columbus North H.S.
Maliah is a smooth guard who has a beautiful jump-shot. She plays primarily off the ball, but she’s capable of occasionally sliding over to point guard and running offense. Last season at Ball State University, she took the floor in 30 contests, averaging 4.7 points and 1.7 rebounds per game while knocking down 29 3-pointers on the season. Her season highlight was probably a 19-point performance at Tennessee State last November.
Breaunna Lloyd, 5-9 G, Hamilton Southeastern H.S.
Breaunna was a strong, physical, and athletic combo guard. She played sort of a power point guard position, but she could also play on the wing and effectively score the ball at all levels. She played at Wright State University last season, and she averaged 4.5 points while making 25 3-pointers in 32 games played. She posted a career high 19 points last November against Northern Ohio. She has stepped away from the game and is not playing collegiate basketball this season.
Karissa McLaughlin, 5-8 G, Homestead H.S.
The 2017 Indiana Miss Basketball was stellar in high school, and she has continued that strong play at Purdue University. While she’s never been the most athletic kid, she’s highly skilled, a talented shooter, and she adjusts to most situations very well and figures out a way to be highly productive. In 34 games played, she made 30 starts, averaging 10.4 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.4 rebounds, while burying 75 3-pointers at a 38% clip. She was named to the Big Ten All-Freshmen team, and scored a career high 21 points in a pair of games last season.
Madison Wise of Iowa State
Rachel McLimore, 5-10 W, Zionsville Community H.S.
Rachel played her first three years at Covenant Christian School before finishing up at Zionsville her Senior year. She is a tough-nosed, high-motor, highly productive wing who does a lot of everything for her teams. Rachel played at DePaul University last season, averaging 2.0 points and 1.3 rebounds in 30 games. She posted a career high 13 points against Delaware State last November. She has since transferred to IUPUI, where she will have to sit out this season.
Destiny Perkins, 5-5 PG, Lawrence North H.S.
Destiny is an incredibly quick / fast water-bug type of point guard. She can create her own shot, and she put up good numbers throughout her high school career (she played her Freshman & Sophomore years at Richmond H.S.). Last season she was a key contributor at the University of Akron, averaging 7.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 29 games played. She had a season high of 21 points against Miami-OH in January. She too has since transferred to IUPUI, and she will have to sit out.
Alyson Reiff, 5-11 W, Whitko H.S.
Aly is a long, fluid, versatile wing who played more of a point guard position in high school. She set all sorts of school records for Whitko, and even placed in the Top-15 on both the career assists and steals lists statewide. She is beginning her second season at Xavier University, where last season she saw action in 28 games, averaging 1.8 points in a little over 10 minutes per game. She had a season high of 7 points last November against Purdue Fort Wayne.
Macee Williams of IUPUI
Macee Williams, 6-1 C, Fountain Central H.S.
Macee Williams was one of the most under-recruited kids in this class, and she was an absolute steal for the IUPUI Jaguars. She averaged a double-double for her career at Fountain Central, including 26.2 points and 16.2 rebounds as a high school Senior. All she did last season as a college Freshman was average 13.0 points and 7.7 rebounds in 32 games. She earned the Horizon League’s Freshman of the Year award, she was named to the Horizon League’s All-Conference 2nd Team, and she has already been selected as the Horizon League’s Preseason Player of the Year for 2018-2019.
Madison Wise, 6-0 F, Greenfield-Central H.S.
Maddie had an outstanding high school career at Greenfield-Central, she is one of the best, if not the best, in their school’s history, and she was a finalist for the coveted Miss Basketball award. She is a long and athletic forward who can play physically in the mid-post or knock down jumpers around the perimeter. She had a strong Freshman season at Iowa State University, averaging 8.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in 31 games, with 28 starts. She knocked down 48 3-pointers at a 41% rate last season as well. She also earned Big 12 Freshman of the Week honors on three occasions.
