As we finish up the most recent quarterly rankings updates, our focus is now on the young but intriguing 2027 class. While there is still a lot of time left in their playing careers, several members of this class have flashed upside, so regardless of where a player might be ranked right now, there is still a lot of time left in their careers and the potential for all of these ladies to continue to grow their game. Below is a look specifically at the top small forward prospects in 2027.

NOTEWORTHY UPDATES:

– Alanna is a nice, strong, physical wing prospect. She plays with a good motor, and she is an athletic matchup problem. She is solid on the wing, she’s great in the mid-post, and she’s strong/physical enough to get inside, rebound and defend. I really like her balance and versatility, and she could be the next star for the Tigers.

, who is 6-3. I’m not sure Isabelle is done growing, either, but their games are much different. While Giselle is a physical interior player, Isabelle is a long, athletic, attacking style of forward. She is currently stretching her game from the mid-post to the perimeter as well.

Greensburg | 2027

, 2027, 5-10 SF, Greensburg H.S.
– Claire joined an already loaded Greensburg squad and was highly impactful. She is a nice, long, fluidly athletic wing who can act as a shooter/scorer, or she can even play a point forward role and initiate the offense at times. I’m not sure how much more she will grow, but as she gets stronger, her game will only be more consistent.

– “K.P.” had a rather dominant year at times for the Governors. She has a strong, athletic, long frame, and she is explosive in most directions. She flies around the floor, grabs rebounds, forces turnovers, and blocks shots. She can get into the lane and finish through contact, or she can handle and create for her teammates.

, 2027, 5-10 SF, Northridge H.S.
– I saw Lily for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and she is a really nice, solid Freshman. She has strength and athleticism to where she can play in the mid-post, defend inside, and rebound at a high level. But she’s also quick enough and skilled enough to play around the perimeter exclusively. Either way, she is highly productive.
