From 15 feet and in, she is seemingly automatic. Has a trusty turn around jumper she employs, along with more great mid-range shooting and finishing around the rim. In the tournament championship of the Buckle of the Wheatbelt, she got the Lady Yellowjackets off to a hot start. And never looked back as she led squad to the title on their home floor. Kingfisher is currently ranked 6th in 4A. Helps with the ball handling duties, either dribbling or making good passes to break the press. Is a tenacious defender, using her strength and athleticism to rebound and force steals on the perimeter. She even was key to a second half comeback attempt with good shooting from the beyond arc. Which means the senior sharpshooter might not always have the biggest scoring nights. But she still finds way to contribute by filling up the stat sheet. Regularly records steals on the defensive end, while also moving her feet when on the ball. She's an unselfish and smart passer, who makes PCN that much better. It was all hands on deck for the Midwest City win, including the senior sharpshooter. Johnson hit three triples in the second half, to help extend the MWC advantage. She was hitting some of her shots from college range. Johnson is a sign of the good depth the Lady Bombers have around their star freshman. She had 12 in the first half of the blowout victory. Finishing with 16 points. The Lady Spartans are a team of guards, but they are a gritty group. And Datel is one of the best examples of that. She pulled in 9 boards against an Owasso team that on paper should've had a size advantage.
