Frazell will graduate as one of the most underrated prospects that the state has to offer out of the 2027 Class. In reality, Frazell has ran her own race up until this point in her career. She has always kept things quiet, off of social media but that doesn't change the fact that she can really hoop at 6'0. Frazell has length for her size, she moves like a natural guard with her height, and she can take over a contest in the blink of an eye. She has had countless contests where she has posted eye-opening stat lines throughout her career, making three's, hitting open cutters with a pass, and defending like her life depended on it. She just happens to compete for a "smaller" school for her Class so many don't notice what she is doing but it is impressive. If you have to face this Waverly-Shell Rock High School team, you have to account for Frazell or else she will have 20 & 20 by halftime.

Emmetsburg High School currently sits with 17-2 record throughout their first 19 games of this season with an average margin of victory of 23.4 PPG. This is one of the best records that the 2A Class has to offer at this time and a major reason for that is PG - Dylan Fiene. Fiene isn't her team's main scoring threat but she does about everything else, while also scoring it at a decent rate as well when called upon. Fiene is in charge of setting up all of those around her for success and she has been thriving in that role this Winter for her Junior season. The bottom line is that she is a guard, that is making everyone else around her better with her creating and distributing ability. She seems to always make the right play and that's something that you can't always teach from a coaching perspective. It takes a lot of experience and discipline. Emmetsburg is an interesting matchup for anyone out of the 2A Class. They have handled most of their matchups so far this season and I can't wait to see how they follow that up all together.

Dunkerton has surprised some programs this Winter with what they have been able to put together in the 1A Class. Dunkerton has only fallen twice to give them a 17-2 record overall, 10-0 in conference, showing their dominance from the inside-out. I would say the heartbeat and motor to this group within this process is their starting PG/CG - [player_tooltip player_id='832216' first='Kylee' last='Pexa']. As a guard, Pexa has always been a scorer first. She can hit others that are open with an assist but she has that natural ability to put the ball in the bucket so she becomes someone that is noteworthy come Playoff time. She can either hit others around her for easy buckets or she can get her own, a dangerous combination for any opposing team if you don't get a handle on it early within a game. When it comes to the Post-season, it's all about matchups. If Dunkerton can handle business to finish off the regular season, they should be in a favorable spot looking forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='912093' first='Avery' last='Moon'] might not be the name you associate with DSM Valley High School as their top player but she is one of the main reasons why the Tigers have had so much success this high school season. Moon is a gamer and a team leader. She is labeled as a SF but she competes more as a guard from the 3 spot compared to anything else. Moon might not be the scoring leader for this team but she is Top 3 in PPG, RPG, and APG for her program, showing up every single time she takes the floor. She leads by example with her communication and passing ability, she can score it at a thorough rate, and she isn't a slouch on defense either. If you give Moon a task, she is going to do everything in her power to complete that task and that speaks to her competitive natural overall. Valley will have a chance to make some waves come Playoff time but it's going to be all hands on deck with everyone getting involved. If they can do that and their main players do their thing, watch out. Who knows how far they will be able to push the envelope.

I have always been a big fan of [player_tooltip player_id='582805' first='Karis' last='Finley'] and what she brings to the hardwood. At the next level with Drake WBB, Finley is going to play really well if put in the correct role. She is very efficient in everything she attempts to do and she is as cool as they come when she is pressured. She never seems to be out of sorts and she never seems to get flushed when errors happen to occur. Cedar Falls is currently sitting in the back, watching its prey for the right time to strike like a tiger on the hunt. They have won a good amount of their games this season already and they are in a spot where they could ponce on anyone in front of them when the time is right. Don't count this group of Finley out. If you do, it might not end up so well for your program.
