Seniors Night- Where Memories are made and Legacies Honored.

As the season approaches its conclusion and the playoffs draw near, a special evening known as Senior Night is held to honor our young athletes for their diligent effort and commitment to their high school and basketball programs. This occasion allows us to express our admiration and appreciation for their passion for the game, and the countless hours they have dedicated to honing their skills. We recall the intense, heart-pounding moments spent on the edge of our seats, cheering with enthusiasm, and sometimes shedding tears after a hard-fought game on the court. Many cherished memories have been created throughout their high school journey, which is now drawing to a close. As one chapter ends, another begins, hopefully leading to a new journey at the next level where they can embark on a fresh start. Remember, ladies, these are the moments you will reflect upon and share with your loved ones. Give your all on the court and drive to the basket. At the time of this evaluation, JaLeeyah has achieved a significant milestone in basketball by scoring 1,000 points, further solidifying her legacy. Observing her play over the past few years, she has become one of my favorite players to watch on the court. JaLeeyah is a formidable presence on the floor, both as a scorer and as a defender, consistently giving her utmost effort. She is also a very unselfish player and will undoubtedly be missed by her teammates. We extend our best wishes to her for the remainder of this season and all her future endeavors.     [player_tooltip player_id='596236' first='Alyssa' last='Randle'] is recognized as one of the most skilled players in her 2026 class in North Louisiana, excelling as a true point guard and floor general. Her high basketball IQ is evident in her play, and she effectively leads and guides her team on the court. Alyssa poses a significant threat in basketball, demonstrating an all-around game with considerable drive and skill on both offense and defense. Her team currently holds the number one ranking in their district. It has been a pleasure to cover her games and events, and we extend our best wishes for the remainder of the season and her future endeavors.     [player_tooltip player_id='489566' first='Zara' last='Baker'] is an exceptional athlete and is considered one of the premier players in the Bossier, Louisiana area. Zara demonstrates excellent leadership both on and off the court, and her game has shown significant development over the years, marked by her unselfish play. She poses a threat from all three levels on the court, showcasing impressive ball-handling skills, a high basketball IQ, and excellent court vision. Zara is a tenacious competitor who is capable of defending all five positions when necessary. Her passion and confidence are evident on the court, and she will undoubtedly be missed by her teammates and the coaching staff at Parkway. Bailey Caskey, a remarkable six-year starter for the Ebarb High School Lady Rebels, has achieved an impressive milestone of over 1,000 plus points scored in her basketball career. Despite playing for a smaller school in Louisiana, her exceptional skills have not gone unnoticed, as she consistently shines brightly and demonstrates her prowess as an elite player. Bailey is a true floor general, capable of leading any team with her ability to score from all areas of the court, coupled with her outstanding basketball IQ and footwork. Her dedication to defense is just as strong as her offensive efforts, making her one of the top point guards in the state of Louisiana. We extend our best wishes to her for the remainder of the season and in all her future endeavors.     [player_tooltip player_id='947881' first='Skylar' last='Branch'] has consistently played and started throughout her four-year high school career for the Lady Buccaneers. Skylar is a remarkably talented player, having scored over 1,000 points and continuing to build upon her impressive legacy. Her proficiency in running the floor and handling the ball makes her a formidable presence at every position; she is capable of playing all five levels on the court and scoring from any of them. Defensively, Skylar excels at guarding the most challenging opponents assigned to her and protecting the rim. It has been a true pleasure to observe her play and compete, and we extend our best wishes for the remainder of her season and all her future endeavors. Bella is a skilled post player who poses a threat in the low post with excellent footwork. Additionally, Bella possesses the ability to score from beyond the arc or make mid-range shots, making her an all-around player on the court. She is also a formidable rim protector, blocking shots and boxing out strongly for rebounds and put-backs. She is cherished by her teammates and will be greatly missed.
