Prior results don't guarantee anything once playoff intensity kicks in.

Ridgeline tends to rely heavily on its primary duo. [player_tooltip player_id='1235913' first='Sam' last='Brown'] orchestrates the offense and consistently looks to establish [player_tooltip player_id='796477' first='Abby' last='Munford'] inside. Munford leads the Riverhawks across the board statistically and is their most consistent presence on both ends. If she gets touches early and controls the paint, Ridgeline becomes much more difficult to defend.

Green Canyon, on the other hand, doesn't depend on just one option. [player_tooltip player_id='812025' first='Talyssa' last='Nelson'], [player_tooltip player_id='1320636' first='Kloey' last='Tensmeyer'], and [player_tooltip player_id='812026' first='Mya' last='Hinds'] have shared the scoring and defensive load throughout the year, giving the Wolves balance and flexibility. While Ridgeline may hold a slight height advantage, Green Canyon's depth and ability to spread production could ultimately tilt the game in their favor — especially if it becomes a four-quarter battle of adjustments and bench contributions.

Desert Hills (3) vs Snow Canyon (5) - 9:10pm

In a rematch between region opponents, the Thunder and the Warriors meet again with the series split and momentum up for grabs. It's been just over two weeks since their last meeting, and both teams have shown growth since then. Desert Hills has made a habit of turning games in the third and fourth quarters, using late-game execution to swing outcomes in their favor.

On the glass, the battle between [player_tooltip player_id='1236663' first='Chaylee' last='Andrews'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1312242' first='Mylee' last='Villanueva'] will be critical. Snow Canyon holds the edge in size, which could translate into second-chance points and paint control. Desert Hills counters with experience and composure, anchored by [player_tooltip player_id='1379853' first='Brynlee' last='Mortenson'], who serves as the offensive connector. Much of what the Thunder do flows through her ability to create, facilitate, and steady the pace.

The most compelling storyline, however, is the youth impact. Snow Canyon's surge over the past month has been fueled by a freshman and sophomore duo who have embraced leadership roles beyond their years. For Desert Hills, [player_tooltip player_id='974008' first='Emeli' last='Langi'] brings defensive intensity and disruption, consistently tightening up possessions and turning stops into opportunities. The team that controls the boards and handles the late-game pressure will likely walk away with the edge.

Dixie (1) vs Provo (8) - 7:30pm

Region Champion Provo, led by [player_tooltip player_id='873280' first='Sage' last='Yenchik'], [player_tooltip player_id='931426' first='Asha' last='Aletto'], and [player_tooltip player_id='921388' first='Valaria' last='Martinez'], now faces a talented Dixie trio in [player_tooltip player_id='873331' first='Izzy' last='Hollingshead'], [player_tooltip player_id='873281' first='Addi' last='Winters'], and [player_tooltip player_id='904995' first='Audri' last='Orton']. The last meeting went Dixie's way, fueled by a decisive third-quarter surge that ultimately separated the two teams.

Since that matchup, Provo has continued to sharpen its execution and grow more cohesive on both ends of the floor. Their size and ability to control the paint could be the difference this time around, especially if they can limit Dixie's perimeter rhythm and avoid another momentum-swinging quarter. If Provo dictates tempo and wins the battle inside, an upset is very much within reach.

Pine View (3) vs Mountain Crest (6) - 4:10pm
