When Carl Albert poured it on in the first half, Brown was at the heart of it. Was knocking down threes like they were layups. Getting to the rim. Even with a large lead in the second half, she was locked in on defense and making smart plays. Flew out to block a three pointer. Had a heads up play where she had a "give me that" steal, then as she was forced out of bounds she quickly saved it off her opponent to retain possession. It was a real "leave no doubt" performance by Brown and her Lady Titans. As they're now only one win away from another State Tournament appearance.

Shifty guard, who can get hers and create for teammates. The crucial run in the third that helped the Lady Panthers separate had her fingerprints all over. She pushed the tempo off a defensive board, and threw an on the money outlet pass for a dime. Then next possession, Robb drained a three over a summer ball teammate. With good area short area quickness and improved passing this year, she's quietly been one of the more exciting players to watch this season. And now is close to playing on the biggest stage possible, the State Tournament.

An all action freshman, Johnson applied pressure on both ends of the court. She got to it on the offensive end, scoring from all over. Getting defenders in space, and either putting them on skates to create space for pull ups. Or slash all the way to the basket. Add in some good determination and tenacity on the defensive end to make it a complete performance. Appears to be hitting her stride at the perfect time for Carl Albert.

Known as a sharpshooter, Price knocked down an early three. After that it was her grit that powered her scoring. Ran the floor hard for transition points and crashed the glass. Multiple times was in the right place and right time for offensive putbacks. One time is was an offensive board where she didn't score, but she stayed patient and hit a cutting teammate for an easy score. It takes all hands on deck to make deep playoff runs in Class 4A and Price looked all in on Saturday night.

Sutton had one of the best stretches of any Carl Albert player in the game and it came without scoring any points. Multiple times she made plays on the defensive end because she understood the assignment. Take charges. Consistently slid over and was in perfect position to get stops. One time during that second quarter stretch, it wasn't a charge but a powerful helpside block. She did get on the scoreboard a bit, including stepping out to hit a three. But it's clear this multi-sport standout knows how to impact the game beyond the box score.

Hill tried to single handedly keep Chickasha in it. Was on fire throughout the game from deep. And when she was covered, she has a quick first step. On those drives she plays fast, but in control with good balance and fundamentals. While she's signed with nearby UASO, Hill clearly is focused on leaving it all on the court for the Fighting Chicks. If they're able to bounce back this week in the consolation bracket, it would be Chickasha's first trip to State since 2014.
