I saw Murray County play Hebron very close for over three quarters earlier in the season and the it was the same story, but with a different ending this time as they won the game in impressive fashion. The Ledford sisters will play in Macon together again, and for the last time, as [player_tooltip player_id='476481' first='Callan' last='Ledford'] will end her outstanding high school regardless of the outcome of the game. Blaklee, one of the best sophomores in the state, has two more years to go before her high school career will end. The two play off of each other as well as any duo I have seen all year. Obviously, they are not twins, but their some type of telepathy going on as the move in sync and coordination on offense in silence and with great effect. They are responsible for the vast majority of the points, but the rest of the team all finds ways to contribute and play hard every second they are on the court. They are scrappy, undersized bunch that gets it done time and time again.

Callan posted another very impressive stat line in the win finishing the game with 27 points, six rebounds and six steals. She is without a doubt one of the very best unsigned seniors in Georgia. Callan scored off the dribble as well as in catch and shoot situations. She is very crafty with the ball and got around her defender multiple times scoring either at the rim or pulling up for a short jumper, under control, avoiding block/charge situations. She has been very good for a long time and has learned to play with extra defensive attention and pressure. She is efficient and direct with the ball. Callan knows what she wants to do after surveying the floor and does not hesitate to attack the openings. She is a very athletic player as well. Several schools have shown interest and some have extended offers. This time next week her attention will shift to choosing where she will play the next four years in college. For now, the only thing on her mind is going out a state champion.

Blaklee plays very similar to Callan, both are very skilled, extremely tough and competitive, and really understand how to create space and score on offense. It's a pick your poison situation with the two and depending upon which sister the defense tries to limit or contain with extra help, the other normally will have a huge game scoring the ball. Blaklee played a very balanced game finishing with 18 points, four assists, and five steals while delivering passes in the pocket for Callan to catch in shoot from the perimeter or finish at the rim on the break. Ledford was excellent picking her spots on when to attack and score herself. She repeatedly got in the paint and scored as well as converting from the midrange. She also was excellent finding her other open teammates for open shots around the basket.

Aspen is the kind of player every coach wants on their team. She is not afraid to do the dirty work on defense or fighting inside with the bigs for rebounds. Powers who was probably the smallest player in the game was one of, if not, the leading rebounder finishing with 8 for Murray County. She also added four steals and three assists to go with five points. She plays with no fear and creates extra possessions with her energy and effort on defense creating steals and getting deflections. She is another player who maximizes her effort on every play providing a spark for her team when they need it. She is also a vocal leader whose positivity has a great impact on her team.

Hadley is another guard who plays with effort and energy adding a high level of intelligence on the court. Hadley really is skilled at anticipating where the ball is going, both off the glass and on defense. She seems to find herself in the right spot at the right time and did so early in this game helping to get her team off to a great start. Hadley had a nice finish at the rim and another where she was fouled shooting the ball. She handles it very well and is a very good perimeter shooter. She finished the game with 4 points, 3 assists, four rebounds, and two steals. She just gets done what needs to get done for her team, but is very capable of scoring in the double digits if the defense gives her opportunities to score in Macon.

Campbell is a strong, physically imposing player standing near 6' with broad shoulders. She used that power to good effect for Columbia in the first half finishing with five points and four rebounds in the first two quarters keeping her team close. This was par for the course with her solid productivity of 11 points and seven rebounds a game this season. Campbell was named All Region multiple times in career and at one point had an offer from Jacksonville University. She does a great job ripping the ball through on the catch creating space between herself and the defender. She finishes well around the basket is a very good passer from the post. Her college decision looms as her senior season and high school career has come to an end.
