Ray Kimball and Evan originally came together to create the first Headliners Invitational Showcase in November of 2023, and after stepping away in 2024, their belief in its purpose only grew stronger, leading to its return with the goal of becoming a lasting part of the community. I'm incredibly thankful to be included in something that carries so much intention and impact. The idea for Headliners developed from watching elite camps and prospect camps across the state—while there were valuable elements like live gameplay, scrimmaging, and structured exposure opportunities, there always seemed to be a gap in fully connecting players with meaningful recruiting visibility. Headliners was built to bridge that gap, centered around the mission of helping girls basketball prospects be seen and recruited by college coaches in a more complete and purposeful way.

MS Session, Headliners Invitational Showcase by [program_tooltip program_id='923712' first='Prepare' last='2 Win Basketball'] , Summit Academy North, March 22nd, 2026.

My coverage focused primarily on the Team Liberty and Team Fever at the showcase. She set the tone early during 3v3 play, attacking the rim with control while staying low and balanced, and pairing that with aggressive on-ball defense and active hands. In the skill work, she stood out by consistently knocking down shots from beyond the arc, while also showing confident ball-handling and solid footwork on her finishing moves. That momentum carried into 5v5 action, where she continued to create off the dribble, scoring on multiple drives and connecting on additional perimeter shots. Defensively, she remained disruptive, applying pressure and coming up with strips to create turnovers. Her shifty handle, scoring ability, and defensive activity all contributed to a very impressive showing throughout the day.

Aubriana, competing with Team Fever at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, delivered a dominant performance and earned 1st Team recognition for her efforts. She showcased excellent footwork early on during 3v3 play, moving with purpose and control in tight spaces. When it transitioned to 5v5, she made a major impact on the glass, consistently securing rebounds on the defensive end and immediately pushing the ball up the floor, often going coast to coast. She did a great job establishing position by sealing defenders and using her length to her advantage. Defensively, her size and activity stood out as she altered plays with multiple blocks and got her hands on passes for deflections. Aubriana's presence was felt throughout the day, putting together a truly impressive showing.

Blake, competing with Team Fever at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, showed encouraging flashes throughout the day as a post player. She was effective during the shooting portion, consistently knocking down shots and showing confidence in her form. In live play, she displayed solid footwork around the basket, allowing her to operate efficiently in the paint. One of her more notable plays came when she attacked from the wing, got past her defender, and finished through contact with strength. She also stepped out and connected on a three-pointer from the wing, highlighting her ability to stretch the floor. Overall, Blake put together a productive showing with a mix of inside presence and perimeter touch.

Peyton, competing with Team Fever at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, showed her value as a forward with strong positioning and feel for the game. She consistently worked to establish inside position by sealing defenders effectively, which allowed her to be a reliable option around the basket. Peyton also displayed solid vision, delivering a well-timed pass to a cutting teammate and making a smart drive-and-kick read to set up a post scorer. While playing inside, she showed good awareness by relocating to the right spot for an easy finish. On the glass, she was active in pursuing offensive rebounds to create second-chance opportunities, and defensively, she contributed with a couple of blocks to protect the rim. Her combination of effort, positioning, and decision-making stood out throughout the session.

Jailee, competing with Team Fever at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, showed herself to be a steady and composed presence at the guard position. She handled the ball with confidence and control, running the offense effectively while making smart decisions. Offensively, she had a strong attacking mindset, highlighted by a nice slash to the basket and a tough finish through traffic. On the defensive end, she brought consistent effort, applying pressure and using active hands to come away with a few steals. Her poise, ball-handling ability, and two-way effort allowed her to contribute in a variety of ways throughout the session.

Kaylyn, competing with Team Fever at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, put together a strong and energetic performance from the guard position. She shot the ball with confidence during the drill work, consistently knocking down perimeter shots. In live action, she showed her ability to score at multiple levels, connecting on a mid-range jumper and later using a smooth spin move in the lane to create a tough scoring opportunity. Despite being one of the smaller players on the floor, she played with great effort, crashing the glass for an offensive rebound and finishing the putback, while also chasing down a long defensive board through sheer hustle. On the defensive end, she was active and disruptive, coming up with a strip to create a turnover. Her toughness, skill, and motor were evident throughout the session.

Kamani, competing with Team Fever at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, made her mark as a guard with her ability to attack and create plays on both ends of the floor. She showed a strong feel for getting downhill, highlighted by a smooth drive that led to a bucket, along with another powerful take where she finished creatively around the rim. Off the ball, she moved well and found ways to stay involved in the action. Defensively, she was active and disruptive, coming away with multiple steals, including one where she pushed the ball the length of the court for a transition score. Her blend of aggressiveness, skill, and defensive energy stood out throughout the day.

Caya, competing with Team Fever at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, showed her ability to contribute as a guard with a solid, composed approach. She knocked down a mid-range jumper with confidence, demonstrating good balance and touch on her shot. After securing a defensive rebound, she looked to immediately push the tempo, showing awareness and willingness to advance the ball up the floor to create opportunities in transition. Her combination of scoring touch and ability to initiate the break added value to her team throughout the session.

Brylee, competing with Team Fever at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, contributed as a guard by showing a balanced effort on both ends of the floor. She knocked down a contested three-pointer with confidence, showing her ability to convert even with a defender in her space. As a handler, she controlled the ball effectively and created opportunities for herself off the dribble, including a smooth drive to the rim where she finished with a reverse layup. She also demonstrated touch around the basket with a finish high off the glass, using good body control to complete the play.
