Kamani created space on the perimeter with her crossovers and behind-the-back snaps. She looks confident handling the rock with either hand, which will make her an effective facilitator at the high school level. Kamani did a nice job of setting ball screens to alleviate pressure and moved to open space. Her fast feet close driving lanes on the defensive end, and she created steals with her active hands. Kamani made the extra pass, chased down offensive rebounds, closed out hard on a shot for a block, and drove hard to the basket to earn a trip to the line. She was consistent, coachable, and productive for Team 5 at the PGH Michigan Freshman Showcase. Kamani will be a nice addition to the Renaissance program.

Kamani gave 1 Nation Elite 14U a spark with her perimeter game at the PGH MI College Tour III. She used a quick jab step to shake her defender, then pulled up to sink a smooth straightaway triple. Kamani drained another triple from the corner and used her quick hands to poke the ball away for steals. She’s active on both ends of the court and will be a playmaker to keep an eye on.

Kamani, competing with Team Fever at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, made her mark as a guard with her ability to attack and create plays on both ends of the floor. She showed a strong feel for getting downhill, highlighted by a smooth drive that led to a bucket, along with another powerful take where she finished creatively around the rim. Off the ball, she moved well and found ways to stay involved in the action. Defensively, she was active and disruptive, coming away with multiple steals, including one where she pushed the ball the length of the court for a transition score. Her blend of aggressiveness, skill, and defensive energy stood out throughout the day.
